"From sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes, I gave my blood, sweat, and tears for this."

You don't speak to Emily anymore. She tried to get you to for a few days, but eventually surrendered her efforts.

Nolan looks at you after every kiss and intimate exchange. You realize that this man is getting everything he wants. An amazing woman at work and a woman waiting for him at home to give him everything that Emily doesn't. And no one is, or can, stop him.

Louis is finally talking with his mum again, though you're not sure that's a good thing. She wants him home for Easter, but Louis is playing stubborn and wants nothing to do with her. He has tried throwing you in the middle of their family feud too many times that you haven't spoken to him in a while either. And you're running to work again. By yourself.

There's a rain cloud hanging above your head, thunder booming and threatening to rain but it never does.

Louis is in his room, on the phone with his mum. You can hear every word he says to her, more like yells at her.

You turn on the television and crank the volume in an attempt to drown out your roommate's conversation. Clicking through the channels to find something worth watching, you surf by Fixer Upper. Your heart flutters, remembering the feeling of holding the woman of everyone's dreams in your arms.

You swallow the feeling with a swig from the bottle of beer sitting on the coffee table and scroll past it, landing on a gossip channel. The same one that broadcasted Emily's vacation with Nolan in the Bahamas.

You curl your feet underneath you on the couch, hugging your knees to your chest and pulling your knit blanket tighter around your body.

Wrap is tomorrow. You've decided that that's the last time you're ever going to be around Emily again. Lower order concern staff members aren't required to attend the premiere or the parties, even though they're invited. You're not sure you can be so close to the woman you love without ever becoming as close as you want to be. It's driving you crazy.

Just when you thought you could escape her, Emily's photo fills the screen, a picture taken at the premiere of her last movie.

"Now this Hollywood sweetheart has become more and more popular ever since the start of her relationship with Hollywood heartbreaker, Nolan Eldridge," the talk show host introduces the segment. "Is it just me, or does their relationship seem a little too perfect?"

"Now that you say it, Lauren, I couldn't agree more. I just think we're all distracted by how adorable these two are together. I mean, we saw them in the Bahamas. We see them coming and leaving set every day together. We see them at elite parties. They're giving fans an astonishing amount of content. What more can we ask for?"

"Rayna, this is the kind of relationship that people love to see, but what aren't the people seeing? Don't get me wrong, if Nolan could win Sexiest Man Alive every year, I'm pretty sure he would, but he has never been good at maintaining a healthy and loyal relationship. Is Nolan getting better at hiding his one night stands with other women? Or is Emily Blunt the woman for him?"

"While it doesn't look like it, and I hate to say it, but Nolan Eldridge is getting older. His days of getting around might be coming to an end, sorry ladies. Emily Blunt seems to have him wrapped around her finger, and I doubt he's going anywhere else but home with Emily Blunt."

"Now, Emily Blunt is someone that you don't see dating very often, especially not with co-stars. Take a look at this interview with Director Steven Harvey earlier this week," Lauren points to the green screen behind her, and the screen is replaced with a video taken in the parking lot at set.

"It's funny, how unlikely this duo was to get together romantically," Director Harvey starts, "On our first day, I had to call an early lunch due to their lack of chemistry. When we came back, it was like seeing high school sweethearts flirting and falling in love. Nolan and Emily are two of the best actors I have ever worked with, and they're a joy," Director Harvey explains to the camera, running a hand through his glossy hair, "Emily is a woman so dedicated to her work, I was surprised to see her take the risk of the distraction that comes with dating a co-star, but it's definitely helping with the media surrounding the film."

"Tell us, Steven, are Nolan and Emily as dreamy off camera as they are on?" The reporter asks from behind the camera.

"I don't want to get too much into their personal business, but I will say that the two are inseparable," Director Harvey smirks and shakes his head, rubbing the bridge of his nose with his hand.

"There you have it folks," Rayna reports between sips of coffee, "the scoop about our favorite couple from a man who sees it every day."

"Before we go to commercial, let's look at one more interview from the cast's errand boy who seems to have a little bit of a different perspective," Lauren points back to the green screen.

You spit out your beer back into the bottle at the sight of Louis on the screen. "There's something odd about them. One second they hated each other, the next I caught them kissing outside of Nolan's dressing room," Louis rambles on and on as if his words have a train to catch, "Take it from the guy who sits back and watches everything, Nolan is not the staff member I predicted Emily falling for."

"And who would that be?" The reporter asks him.

Louis's eyes grow big and he practically chokes his next few words, "I've said too much."

You quickly turn off the television and make a mental note to reprimand Louis later after he's cooled down from his mum.

Within the hour, you hear voices at the door.

"You're sure this is the right one?" A deeper voice asks, impatience and annoyance in every word.

"Yes, why do you care to know?" A higher voice with an English accent replies.

Emily.

You open the door before they even knock. "Can I help you?" You look at Nolan instead of Emily, remembering your conversation with him.

Nolan pushes past you, driving his shoulder through yours, as he enters your apartment. "Where is he?" Nolan heads down the hallway towards the bedrooms, leaving you alone with Emily.

"What are you doing here?" You ask her. They're the first words you've said to her since Nolan threatened you to stop.

"I don't know," Emily runs her hands through her hair, closing the door behind her. "He was watching the gossip channel while I was making dinner, and then he demanded to know where you lived. It was weird."

"Shit," you mutter, quickly following Nolan's tracks down the hallway.

"Y/N," Emily follows you, "What's going on?"

"He's here for Louis."
