I didn't know why but I was a little awkward approaching my sister about my marriage with Khushi.. I knew she loved her and I had no reason to be nervous but I couldn't help but be ..

"Come on ASR you can do it" I told myself as he headed down to the breakfast table

I waited for everyone to sit down and then took a deep breath and spoke..

"There's something I want to tell you people" I said gathering everyone's attention

They all at once turned all their attention to me and suddenly I didn't know if this was the right time to talk about my marriage but I decided to do it nonetheless...

"I want to marry khushi and I want to do it with all customs and traditions So I want you people to visit her family and ask for her hand in marriage" I spoke in one single breath

For the next Few minutes there was absolute silence and then Di dropped her spoon bringing everyone back to reality...

"Di pinch me please" Akash looked at Di...

"Hello hi ..bye bye....yi hum kya sun rahe.." Mami looked like she had seen a ghost

"Aap mazak kar rahe hai na" Nani asked unable to believe her eyes

"Guys stop being dramatic...I like khushi and I want to marry her what's with the whole drama" I said a little annoyed

"If you people don't want to meet her family I'll just have a court marriage with her" I declared...

"Noooooo " came the joint voice

"We didn't say we wouldn't go...we just want to make sure you are pranking us" Akash spoke up..

"Why would I joke about something like this?" I asked

"Chote jaise aap khushi ke sath rehte hain kisi ko bhi yahi lagta" di smiled at me

"Par hum bahut khush hain ...hum aaj hi jayenge khushi ke Amma bauji se aapke liye khushi ka haanth maangne" Di was so excited I am sure she was about to cry

"Ok" I smiled and hugged her

"Ok ok enough of all this drama" I said rolling my eyes..

I couldn't wait to make Khushi mine..If I had it my way I would just marry her in court but I knew how much she cared about values and traditions and I was determined to give her the best memories..also the fact that having a public wedding meant this was for life because even though I had told her it was going to be aa contract marriage I had no plans of letting her go...

"Aap muskura rahe hain??" She said shocked as if she had seen the eighth wonder of the world..

I rolled my eyes back so hard I am sure a little more and my eyes would have popped right out ..

Gosh my family was dramatic...

"Chalein" I said and stood up to head to my room and get ready for work when I felt a hand on my wrist

I turned and saw Di smiling at me ..

"I am so happy chote" She said tears threatening to spill
