The Nerd's Secret

Chapter 3

Cade's P.o.V

My name is Cade Jackson, I am the leader of the Nightingale gang. I am 20 years old. I have no family other than my younger brother, who is 18 and still in high school. I was doing some paperwork, when I came across a contract from a rival gang. It was an agreement for a cease fire, for a lack of better terms, for them to teach some of our members how to fight and us to help them with some of their logistical things. I am better at finances and paperwork, whereas the Daybreaker is better at fighting. I've only met her once, at a fight, and she is ruthless. I've seen her fighting style. She is most definitely a force to be reckoned with. I almost forgot about the meeting with her tonight. It was supposed to be here but I moved it to club Carolina, Thant way no one had to be there other than us. No one would try anything in public and risk exposing things.
I got some more things done before it was time to go. I got a shower and got dressed and went down to the garage. I got in my car and drove to the club. When I got there and got inside, I saw she was already waiting. Before she saw me, I saw a man walking over to her, looking like he was trying to talk her up and get something from her. He got wide-eyed all of a sudden and walked away. She's a beautiful girl so I'm not too surprised. She's 5 foot 4, brown wavy hair, blue eyes, and she's not muscular but she is definitely well-toned. You can tell she works out. I make eye contact with her and I walk over to her. I sit down at her table with a quick, casual greeting. "Evening, Madison" I said. "Evenin, Cade" she responded. "We are here to discuss the contract, correct?" She asked. "We are" I told her. We made some small talk for a few minutes before we talked about the contract. It was mainly just talking about things that had already been laid out in the contract and making sure everything was correct. Once it was all correct, we both signed it. "Дерьмо" she said. "I'm sorry, what?" I asked. "What was that?" I looked at her, confused as hell. "Nothing, I just saw someone walk in that doesn't..." she trailed off. She stood up abruptly and gave a curt nod. "We can finish this elsewhere or be done. I cannot stay here right now" she said. I followed her gaze, but didn't see anyone I recognized. "No we can be done," I told her. "Everything we needed to do is done." She just nodded and left. I wonder what that was about. I got up and went back home. When I got home, I changed and watched tv, still wondering what happened.
