Mya's pov:
This Halloween me and Sophia were planning on matching as a devil and angle. She was gonna be the angle because she was an angel, good grades,nice manners,lots of friends,respectful. In which I thought it was kinda weird, like how could a girl be so perfect. But I think it was because she had strict parents who taught her right from wrong.
In which I don't blame them, but unlike her parents, mine weren't as strict with me they were cool. Although my mom and dad had to lie to her mom saying, "No sweets,no sharp objects,bed at 9pm,and taking up our phones at the end of the night." But they didn't do any of that, but they would have to do that in order for her to sleep over. So I was grateful for my parents, and they were going to take me and Sophia trick or treating this year so that we would have more fun than being with her mom.
Don't get me wrong, I love her mom, but she can be a little too strict with her sometimes. For example, she had come home 5 minutes after curfew because we were walking slowly. And so she blew up on her, but Sophia somehow managed to not get me sent home. Our houses were within walking distance from each other 4 houses apart. So we could see each other whenever we needed to. That is also one of the reasons why she trusted my parents so much.
Sophia's pov:
Me and Mya are planning on matching this Halloween she was going to be the devil. I was going to be the angel because she said it matched my personality. I don't blame her for thinking that. But we both know why she was going to be the devil it's because she was more reckless. In which I think it matches her perfectly because she's not so nice,barley any manners,good style,and she doesn't have a lot of friends. And I don't really blame a lot of people for not liking her. Most people see her as unapproachable and rude, but when u really get to know her, she's your ride or die.
To be honest, I kinda wish that I had Mya's parents instead of mine because hers were chill and cool and mine were really strict. Her parents had to lie for me just for me to sleep over, so I am grateful for them. Her parents were taking us trick or treating this year, so It would be more fun. I like going trick or treating with them because I get a lot more candy than when I'm with my mom and dad.
And if I'm being honest, I really hate my parents. I wish that they would be cool for once they won't even let me out past 8 pm.
My house Mya's were in walking distance 4 houses apart, and I was grateful for that. If not, I don't think that my parents would have trusted her enough to let me sleep over every weekend and let me go trick or treating with them. Me and mya knew each other for around 6 years we met in elementary school and we have been inseparable ever since.
