I have always sought out pleasure.
In the past I've acted on what feels good.
I've been one to abandon reason and respect, if it means amicable end.
I find my nature is bound within that which serves it
No reprieve is won from knowledge only I carry, knowledge I've choked from the world.
I do not intend to break my hips on shallow waters nor rot out of consideration.
If the scales weigh in my desires to my conscience, the difference would equal my soul-weight.
But should the scale reveal a good woman, I will have fooled fire and gold.
