Third Person POV

A man identified as Klaus Michaelson was found sucking Tyler Lockwood's blood in New Orleans. He had established his home and formed a new community there. Tyler felt Klaus rip his heart out and stab him with a silver dragger. Tyler was not alone in his mission to murder Klaus; Klaus think that his father Mikael's man had dispatched him to New Orleans, where he assembled a group of werewolves and vampires to aid in the killing. One by one, Klaus murdered the guys, tearing their hearts from their bodies. Later, he gave one of his men the order to tidy up the mess that Klaus had made. After killing them, Klaus fled the area and headed to his mansion.

Klaus POV

I gave my wife Hayley a quick hug and a gentle kiss on the forehead as soon as I arrived at my mansion. I went upstairs to my room to take a shower. As soon as I turned on the shower, I was transported back to the day I killed Mon. I admit that I was in love with her, but I never intended to kill her because my friend Freen was also in love—in fact, they were both in love. I've been living with regret for killing Mon for these many millennia, but my stepfather Mikael would have killed both Mon and Freen if I hadn't killed her.

Living with guilt is a heavy burden to bear, and I have been carrying it for centuries. It all started when I killed Mon, the love of my best friend Freen . I was the step son of Mikael, and from the moment I entered his life, he despised me. He was a werewolf, and I was a Hybrid, a creature that was both vampire and werewolf. But I had to hide my true identity from him because he had a curse that prevented him from transforming into a wolf. The only way to break this curse was through a ritual that required Mon's blood. However, I could not let that happen. I knew that if Mikael broke the curse and after breaking the curse he could finally bring her love  Freya from another world to this world, But i didn't let that happen as i knew he would come after me and my friends Freen, Kirk, Kade, Jim, Stephan, Damon & Elijah & kill them all . So, in order to protect myself and my friend's, I made the difficult decision to kill Mon before the ritual could take place.

But my actions were not without consequences. I know that Freen, must hate me for taking away the love of her life. And not just her, but also my other friends Kirk, Jim, Kade, Tee, Stefan, Damon, and most importantly, my only step brother who truly cared for me, Elijah. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and betrayal they must have felt towards me. I am sorry for causing them all this pain and for bringing doubts into Elijah's mind.

But what I did not know at the time was that Mon had been reborn as Becky. And now, I am terrified that Mikael will come back to perform the ritual once again. After killing Mon, I went to confront my step father in a fit of rage. In that moment, I stabbed him with a powerful silver dagger and put his body in a coffin. I then buried the coffin in a hidden tomb where no one could find it. I thought I had gotten rid of him for good, but now I fear that he may return to seek revenge for Mon's death and also to perform ritual.

I am haunted by my past actions and the guilt consumes me every day. I know that what I did was for the greater good, but it doesn't change the fact that I took a life and caused so much pain to those around me. I can only hope that one day my friend's will find it in their hearts to forgive me, and that I can find a way to make amends for my past mistakes. But for now, I must live with the weight of my guilt and the fear of my step father's return. Whatever happens i will protect Becky and Freen & her friends even if i have to die.

I came down stairs and saw my wife was running her hands over her tummy, she was 6 months pregnant. I went close to her and plant a kiss on her cheeks. Then i ask her...

Klaus: Haley, have you felt our baby kick yet?

Haley: Yes, just this morning. It's such an amazing feeling, knowing that we created this little life together.
