His body language speaks it all
Assuming from his eyes and gestures
I knew we felt the same
His gaze digs through my soul
And in every staring contest he'd always win
On his eyes written the word 'astonished'He made the first move
But I never step up on his games
I waited for the perfect moment
Thought that we shouldn't rush
And focus on academics
Entrusted my love to destinyDays went by— weather has changed
The atmosphere went cold
He's eyes retreated quickly this time
And every meaning disappeared
I let it step back and rewind
I'm way too slow and naiveMaybe he just gave up
Or maybe I wasn't worth waiting
Maybe I'm just too confident
Assuming that no one would steal him
Since he's eyes are stuck in mine
Not this timeHe has a new one
A girl that is not shy, straightforward
Funny, young and has a cute smile
Thought that it was just a rumor
But I saw it with both eyes
Now I find myself defeatedMaybe you thought that I didn't care
That I was numb and I can't sense
That I didn't appreciate the little things
That I didn't saw you doing your best
Everything you did was clear to me
Your genuine smile, your captivating eyesIt's me that ignored the signs
It's me that didn't answered your questions
Silent questions that keep ringing in my ears
I could've answer those silently too
But my intentions was not clear enough
I should've take risk, instead your left with no reply
