Gomez Addams
The Great Hall
Gomez had waited for New Year's Eve with impatience. He needed a fresh start after these past few days, and the Rave'N Dance was the perfect occasion. He was feeling better since he and Morticia had settled their issues. Gomez couldn't wait to see her tonight. It seemed James couldn't wait to see Lily as well. The only solution the chaser had found to overcome his fever was to gulp down glass after glass of Peter's alcohol to whom he had robbed a bottle.
Gomez was still wondering what the small wizard had told Remus during their training session, but the werewolf had refused to answer his questions, so Gomez hadn't pushed the matter. He would see to that later on. In any case, their discussion hadn't prevented Remus from joining James in his drinking, under Sirius's cheers. They will end up as drunk as during Christmas, Gomez reckoned, amused. Yet, the souvenir of the diner brought back the image of Garrett Gates standing in front of Morticia, threatening her of death. I will need to deal with him as well – sooner than later, he decided, turning on his heels to monitor the students going down the staircase.
Morticia was the first one to come down the stairs, dressed with a black oversized tuxedo. Her hair was weighing down freely to her waist, moving along with her steps that a pair of black stilettos made even more elegant. Her pale skin was brought out by her purpled lips. She smiled at Gomez, and the teenager knew he didn't have to worry for tonight.
Pretty woman, walking down the street
Pretty woman, the kind I'd like to meet
Behind her came Lily, looking every inch a Gryffindor with her long crimson dress, split on one side up to the top of her thigh. Her waist was marked by a golden belt. She had tied her fiery hair in a long braid that brought out the grace of her neck. Gomez turned to James who had put his glass down, his eyes fixed on the witch, seemingly at a loss of words. Gomez shoved the chaser to shake him up, laughing mockingly.
"Come now Potter. Don't make her wait."
Pretty woman, I don't believe you
You're not the truth
As a man himself, Gomez could tell the chaser was intimidated, even though he put on a good show not letting it burst on his face.
James stared at Lily and offered her a shy smile; she blushed from his attentions. She came close to him and brushed her hand to his. The chaser whispered something Gomez didn't catch into her ear and the witch's smile broadened.
No one could look as good as you
Mercy!
Then, Mary and Marlene arrived. The former was wearing a mini golden dress that was striking against the warm brown of her skin. For once, she was wearing flat shoes, like a silent promise that she would unleash herself tonight on the dance floor. As for the latter, she was dressed with a long slinky watery blue skirt with a matching-coloured top. The blond girl looked around her as soon as she got to their little group. Disappointment flickered in her eyes when she didn't see Ophie – or so Gomez thought. She grabbed with a small smile the bottle Sirius was handing her and drank from its neck. When she gave it back to the boy, her smile seemed more genuine. And before anyone could say something, she headed for the dance floor under the enquiring stare of Sirius.
Pretty woman, you look lovely as can be
Are you lonely just like me?
"Very much like your dress," James smirked at Mary as she came to them, embracing Lily. His eyes were glazed by all the alcohol he had already swallowed. He gestured towards her piece of cloth with his hand. "It's very... flattering."
