Thomas Yu's POV:

I was walking down the hall with my best friend Annabeth, who is the smartest and most athletic girl in the school. While I am just the smartest boy in the school and I may have developed a crush on her ever since she stood up for me when I was getting bullied.

*Flashback*

"Hey Loser, where's my math homework!"

I ignored him and kept walking.

He pushed me against the lockers, "Hey Thomas, I'm talking to you! Where is my homework!!!"

"I don't have it." I mumbled.

"Wha-"

Then a girl just punched him against the locker. A GIRL PUNCHED GARY SUNG, THE MOST POPULAR GUY IN SCHOOL, AGAINST THE LOCKERS!

"If your so great, why don't you do your own homework idiot!" The girl yelled.

Then she turns towards me and that when I got a good look at her. She was gorgeous, she seemed like someone in the popular group but appeariantly that's not who she is. She has curly golden blonde hair, a fit body, and most importantly her eyes we're grey which showed how smart and strong she is.

"Hey, you okay?" She asked while offering a hand.

I took it, "yeah I'm fine." I said still shocked by what just happened.

While we we're talking I saw Gary quickly get up and walk away clearly embarrassed.

"Hi, I'm Annabeth Chase."

"Thomas Yu, so are you new here because I never seen you around."

"Yeah I just started today."

"Cool, so you wanna be friends?" I asked.

"Sure."

*End of Flashback*

I've known Annabeth for a year and a half now and my little crush on her turned into true love. I know it's crazy, true love? you're still a teen, but I just know she's the one and I'm pretty sure she likes me too. She always laughs at my jokes even though they're aren't that funny and whenever a guys asks her out, which is like everyday, she always turns them down saying she has a "boyfriend" but I know she just saying that because I never met him and she never talks about him.

So today is the day I'm finally going to ask her out, I know she's been waiting so i'm going to ask her after school when we go to her house after school to work on our greek project. Hopefully she says yes, I mean I'm not the most hottest guy in school but I'm pretty cute with my neatly combed black hair and chocolate brown eyes.

I'm heading to Greek when I see Annabeth getting asked out by someone again. When I get closer I notice it's Gary, the guy she punched when he was bulling me. This is going to be interesting.

"Hey Anna, wanna come over to my house today? No one's gonna be home so we can do whatever we want." Gary said.

"First off DON'T CALL ME ANNA! Second why would I even want to go out with an idiot like you! And third, I have a boyfriend!" Annabeth said and started walking towards me.

Then Gary grabs her arms. "Hey I know you want me so you can just stop playing hard to get."

Then Annabeth just punches hims. "I said NO!"

She then pulls my arm. "Come on Thomas, lets go to Greek."

_Time Skip to after school_

I just finished putting my things away in my locker when Annabeth came over. God she's so beautiful.
