"I can't believe this. It's finally happening!" I ran out of the room as fast as I could to find him
"Queen Lila. Why are you in such a rush?" My guard, Raynar stopped me just as I left the doorway
I looked at him, then he noticed my tears, not knowing how happy I was right now. "Why are you crying? Did something happen?"
I smiled at him. "I'll tell you later. Where is the King?"
"He's in a meeting right now with our guards in training. Should I summon him to your room?" Raynar asked me
"Yes, as soon as possible." I said while walking back into the room
I waited on the bed for about 10 minutes before the door opened and my husband walked in
"Raynar said you needed me for something? Is it really that important?" That's when he noticed the tears stained on my face
"What's wrong...?" He asked while sitting next to me on our bed
I smiled and then held the test in front of his face. "We're pregnant!!"
"What!?" He said jumping off the bed and pulling me into a giant hug. "I can't believe it!!"
I could feel tears of joy falling off my face again, but I don't want to wipe them away
This is the happiest day of my life...
A few days later
I could definitely feel the pregnancy starting to get real
Every morning I would feel nauseous
Orpheus would stay with me in the mornings until I felt better
My maids would help me feel comfortable, while attending to my royal duties as queen
Some days, I would be so sick, that Orpheus would take over my duties
I could tell that he was exhausted on those days
He says that he can handle it, but I know that it's hard for him
The royal duties for one of us is really tiring, so him taking my duties into his schedule makes him even more stressed out
I would be resting or fully asleep by the time he comes into our room
Every night, I ask him if he is sure that he can handle it, but he reassures me that he can
He kisses me, knowing well that I am worrying about him
That's all I need before I fall asleep
In the morning, I wake up feeling sick, and he is already awake
Orpheus starts his duties early, until I wake up
