King Muzan never actually saw your face clearly, he never knew what he looked like since you always wore some type of armour or a mask. This gave Kibutsuji a chance to know about you or know about your plans so he decided to go

On the other hand, You never wanted rivalry in the first place, you mentioned multiple treatises to Muzan but failed to comply so, you always wore a mask when you were outside, because you had a long scar and blind on your right eye, you hid them so you didn't scare the children of your kingdom, nobody ever saw your mystical blue eyes

Soon the ball came, the palace of king Michikatsu was filled with beautiful women and handsome men dressed in gowns and suits, from one end, King Kibutsuji entered wearing a black and red coronation robe, a with a black fancy suit hugging his body and black long boots, an sword by his hips and of course his Ruby crown on his head.

While from the other end, You entered, wearing a blue shirt and a white vest, a ribbon bowtie on his neck, and a blue and white chequer pattern robe royal with a short blue veil covering your eyes and a blue-gold sceptre on your right hand

King Michikatsu wearing a purple suit with a purple-white robe, entered from the middle chamber, a wine glass in his hand, raising it for a toast

King Michikatsu- "I am raising this toast to be crowned the new king and for togetherness with our five kingdoms together"

Everyone in the ball cheered, except Kibutsuji, pissed with the fact of seeing your face so cheerful and positive, soon it was time to dance, every one took there dance partners, husbands and wives dancing together, King Michikatsu with his wife and other kings found there partners, it was graceful and beautiful, but the only one with no partners were Somehow you and Kibutsuji, standing side to side.

You walked closer taking soft and gentle steps towards Kibutsuji, bowing and holding out your hand to him
