Chapter 2

"I have a new mission but for this you all have to split up." He continued. "Romanoff and Stark will go to Malibu. We have intel that a new threat has risen there. Barton, you'll be going solo. You're going to Finland. We've received information that a Mafia group has been founded there. We need you to infiltrate it and bring it down. Mia and Astrid, you'll be heading to Asgard. All of you will receive more information with these." He layed what looked like two normal tablets on the table but all of us knew they were much more. "Mia and Astrid I will give you a briefing myself. The rest of you are dismissed."After that I felt my heart sink and I knew my dad wanted me to go so I wouldn't be stuck inside doing nothing. I visited Bucky even though I didn't like him. I had questions for him. Plus he was smart. He could give me information. We hugged our friends good-bye and promised to talk to each other as much as possible. So I decided to go talk to Bucky.Now this could go two ways. I could work and get information or he'd tell me to buzz off and go back to work by myself. Now to tell you the truth, the reason Bucky didn't like me was because I beat him in training and he held that grudge against me. Even though he had a metal arm I was also injected with the super soldier serum. Not only that but I knew how to make him work against himself. It was pretty easy for me.After that he started to hate me and tried to ignore me but if you know me, you know I can be anywhere at anytime. That's what annoyed him because he didn't like that I could be anywhere."Hey soldier." I said, walking up behind him and patting him on the back, he grimaced. "Need your help with somethin'.""Sure kid what's up?" He replied, his grimace disappearing and turning into a smirk.I was surprised he didn't try and ask me why I was asking him for help. So I proceeded with my question."I'm going to Asgard to do an undercover investigation." I explained. "Can you help me out with that?"He looked at me with a quizzical look."Can't Mia help you with that?" He asked."Yeah but I'd rather be trained by a professional than my best friend. Don't get me wrong I just thought maybe I'd ask you because you've had more experience with this then she has."He agreed to do it and for the next half hour he told me everything that I would need. Later I thanked him for his help and went back to my apartment and took a nice long shower. True my body was in pain but the hot water had been nice on my sore body. Before bed I called Mia and told her what I had done and she was happy but a little disappointed because she was a good undercover agent. But like I said I wanted to have a professional trainer which was Bucky of course. Before we left for Asgard we needed to go to Finland to help Barton. We were at the market one day when we saw one of the Mafia guys running around and chasing the townspeople. We had to stay silent and we were able to take out the guy.I saw him begin to move towards a woman with her baby. I couldn't stand by and watch anymore. I moved towards him but Mia grabbed my arm."We don't have orders to engage yet." She said."I don't care." I replied. "Going after a defenseless woman and her infant is going too far for me. I'mma go take that jerk out."I ripped my arm from her grasp and walked towards the man. The woman was now cowering before him and leaned over her child as protection."Hey!" I called. "What's the matter with you man?""How dare you talk back to me." He said."You wanna go?" I asked. "Or will I have to escort you outta here?"He snickered and shrugged. "Sure kid. 'Escort' me off the premises.""I will."He whipped out a gun and got ready to shoot. I ran forward and flipped over his head, kicking him. He staggered forward before turning back around to face me. He raised his gun but I was too fast for him. I did a roundhouse kick and launched the gun out of his hands. He put his hands up for a fist fight. He struck twice but missed both. I punched his gut and knocked the wind from him. Another punch to his face broke his nose. He screamed in pain as he fell back. I couldn't help but laugh.My laugh was cut short by being surrounded by big men in black masks.
