"BRINGGGG"

"I'm so tired" I said as I got out of bed. I turned on my jazz playlist as I got out of bed. This is my first class of college. I was lucky enough to save money from jobs during high school to get my own apartment near the college. I go to Paradis College in Atlanta. Its an art school and I'm taking digital design. I used to live in Atlanta before I moved away when I was 14. I still remembered it obviously because me and my family would come to visit. Sometimes I think about what life could've been if we hadn't moved away. Would I have better friends? A better relationship with my parents? I don't know really. My relationship with my parents has always been rocky. Sometimes I feel like they don't love me. But that's how they were raised especially growing up in a whole different country where parents dont really tell you they love you. I have a younger brother whos 14 in the 8th grade. We've always had a great relationship but I felt guilty leaving him at home with just our parents. He has always been like my best friend. One good thing about moving back to ATL is my best friend Nia lives here. We were always together before I moved. We had this big friend group in middle school, but after I left I lost contact with everyone but her and her boyfriend Eren. Now I'm back.

Y/n Apartment

I made my bed a light some candles. I brushed my teeth and got in the shower. I used the coconut and vanilla scent from Native with a loofa then I used bar soap with a wash cloth to finish off. When I got out I did my usual skincare, moisturized using coco butter Vaseline then got dressed then sprayed myself in my favorite perfume. I decided to accessorize in my usual gold jewelry. I did some light makeup then exit my room.

I took my locs out my bonnet styled them then grabbed my purse filled with gum, my wallet, lipgloss, glasses, and my keychain. I looked down at my phone as I headed out the door and realized that Nia has been waiting outside for me for 15 minutes.

"Oh shit," I said as I ran out the door.

As I was running I accidentally bumped into someone who was leaving their apartment. 

"Yo you good?" a man said that was much taller than me. He looked both Hispanic and Asian. He had a gray buzzcut, his outfit consisted of a black graphic tee and black baggy distressed jeans, his shoe choice was black cat 4s and he wore silver jewelry. Not gonna lie this man was fioneee. He also looked familiar but all that left your mind as you realized you were getting late.

"Yea I'm good sorry for bumping in to you I'm kinda in a hurry" you said wanting to leave the conversation. You looked down to see Nia calling you. 

"I gotta go but I'll see you around," you semi yelled as u ran down the hallway.

                                     Connie's POV

I woke up and got ready for school. Today would be my first day at college. I brushed my teeth and washed my face with cleanser because skin care is not just for girls. I picked out a nice outfit sprayed myself with cologne and headed out the door. I've lived in GA for most of my life but I was born in Colombia then moved to Atlanta. My dad is Japanese and he met my mom when he was on a trip with his friends and then you know how the rest plays out. My mom moved to the states with my dad so that I can have a better life. Soon enough my Aunts moved had children of their own now it's like the whole family lives here. I have a younger sister named Marianna she's 13 right now and can't stop talking and being nosey. Life has been pretty good for me growing up. 

Before I headed out the door I got a text from the group chat asking if everyone is on there way. I've had the same friends since middle school. The group chat is Eren and his girlfriend Nia, Sasha, Armin, Mikasa and this girl named Mary we met later in high school. We used to be eight of us but then this girl named y/n moved. Me and her used to be close but lost contact when she moved away. As I headed out the door I felt a body collide with mine. There was this brown skin girl with hella gold jewelry and locs she gave off earthy vibes and was really pretty. She looked kind of familiar, but she was in a rush.

"Yo you good?" I said looking down at her. She had a cool outfit with really pretty dark eyes.

She looked me up and down then said, "Yea I'm good sorry for bumping in to you I'm kinda in a hurry" Then before I could say anything her phone started buzzing and we both looked down at it.

"I gotta go but I'll see you around."

"Ok bye?" I said as my voice faded slowly because she was already down the hallway.
