Okay so, hehe, Love is Political is actually based on my experience. The girl I dated when I was a freshman in college was super religious, even so, she said yes when I asked her to be my girlfriend.
To be honest, she had a crush on me before I even noticed her, she admitted it many times (that I couldn't count). We dated for a while then it ended, the break up scene on this story was how our actual break-up went but I don't actually know how she felt or how she was after we parted ways.
Anyways, I guess that's how it is.
PS. She's really gay, everyone noticed and knew but she's convincing herself that whatever she felt around women was 'only admiration'.
