Hermione POV
I can't decide if I hate Annabeth or if I should befriend her. Because Percy is beyond hot and apparently a nice guy. Unfortunately all the exchange students are dating except the scrawny one, Leo I think. Skylar a seventh year came over and talked with them, a bunch of girls were coming over and flirting with percy, Piper I think her name is, looked at them sweetly and told them he was way out of their league and to stop flirting, than she said This Ship will never sink! And the girls walked away. oh well. But Annabeth is saying classes will be so easy, ha, a blonde like her? She's probably as dumb as a rock!
-the next day, first class-
I walked in to DADA and saw none other than the exchange students talking to snape, and SNAPE was SMILING I blinked and the exchange students were walking to their seats, Snape's face was expressionless again, I must have been seeing things.
"Alright we are having a quiz on deffemding yourself..." Snape started. oh this would be easy. "against someone, using a sword." What. I probably had the first failed quiz in my life. Ron and Harry both failed. But the goth of the exchanges got us points for all getting 100 percent and the bonus! So did Percy and Jason. The Chinese kid also got 100 percent! Annabeth can't have if I didn't! She was talking with the others in a different language, which percy was translating into Latin I think and repeating again. Hazel said SOMTHING in Latin and Jason translated it into to the other language. Piper started screaming in that language, to whitch Percy responded in the same language, I caught the word Aphrodite though, and Piper's an Annabeth's name. I walked over to them. Piper glared at me and mutter something in the language. Annabeth shot me a death glare. all the exchanges turned twards me.
"Umm could I talk to Annabeth? it's about the quiz." I ask
"Sure, need help studying? There's going to be a pop test halfway through the year." Annabeth said slowly.
"Why would I need your help! You failed it didn't you!" I replied. Annabeth pulled it out of her bag and gave it to me. 100%! Plus all 3 bonuses! How??! I gave it back shocked and head back to the common room. I heard the only thing I know in Greek- she doesn't speak Greek. they were talking in Greek an latin. I ran to the library and got out a book I thought had some stuff about Greeks and Romans in ancient times. they were enemies. that didn't help at all. I put the book back and grabbed my bag, heading to ancient runes.
