February 12th, Sunday 6:56 am, the weather was chilly with a small breeze from last night rain as the morning smelt of wet grass and that smell that always lingered after a heavy rain storm. The grass went and twinkling with drops of water lingering still. The driveway was was big enough for 2 cars, which was good if I could afford two cars. The house seems good, it was small haha y good. The sunrise raised as I turned off my engine after driving up the driveway.  Finally, I let out a sigh that I didn't realize I wasn holding until now, breathing in the fresh air that wasn't poured with toxins and chemicals that were like in the city. I couldn't believe, this was all mine, really really mine to say. Looking to the side as I opened the glove box, pulling out the vanilla envelope, ripping open the package as the key to this home and the deed slide right into my palm. The metal key was cold yet so familiar in my grasp as I looked over the paper rereading the document thoroughly to make sure it was utterly completely mine.

"I give all my tangible personal property and all policies and proceeds of insurance covering such property, to my grandson, Y/N L/N. In equal shares, to be given among them by my executors in their absolute discretion after consultation with my grandson. My executors may pay out of my estate the expenses of delivering tangible personal property to beneficiaries."

This home, was really mine, it was quite after all. At the end of the circle of a cul-de-sac, quite.. lovely you could say. The nice pastel blue was... Definitely in a need of a fresh coat, the white paint peeling off the beams. Alright, maybe I was lying but it didn't look that terrible. Flipping the key in my hand as I got out of my car, closing the door behind me as I walked up the stairs onto the porch. A porch swing creaking from the breeze as I put the key into the slot of the door, nervously I slowly turned the key and opened the door. Pushing the door open slowly as the front door creaks open revealing the empty entryway. Quiet, I don't know why but... But I was prepared to have a loud house, video games and music being played in the background, groups of people gossiping or debating, children playfully fighting and running around as the smell of cooking wafted in from the kitchen.

February 12th, Sunday 7:09 pm, finally, with the help of no one but me I had moved in everything. I even found the boxes that the movers surprisingly didn't damage of my stuff. I guess this was meant to be after all, now that all my items were inside from my car, all the boxes just sat in the, what I presumed, living room. Of course, since this was my new house, I could look around. To me it felt like a strange world, there were two rooms, both having their own bathroom. One downstairs and the whole upstairs, each having a decent walk in closet however mine was larger but size. It had a decent kitchen along with 2 acres of land along with this 780 yard home. It was nice, quaint, mine. It was all mine, I was ... I made it, I finally made it.
