"Where the hell have you been?! Do you have any idea how much I worried about you?!" Yeonjun scolds Beomgyu the moment the latter reaches and closes the apartment door behind him.

Beomgyu ignores the older's presence and slumps his way to the living room couch, plopping himself onto it and letting out a long groan in frustration.

"Mind explaining?" Yeonjun asks, arms crossed.

"What are you? My babysitter?" Beomgyu asks, glaring.

"Your best friend."

"I'm not in the mood."

Yeonjun approaches the younger and sits at the other end of the couch.

"Looks like something happened." Yeonjun speaks.

Beomgyu releases another groan. "Why didn't you tell me the hunter has a son?!"

"What do you mean he has a son?" Yeonjun shutters his eyelids in confusion.

Beomgyu abruptly sits up with his hair now dishevelled and messy. "Well, apparently, he does."

"But we did a background check and it shows, that he doesn't have any family."

"Well, fuck those background checks, he has a son a year younger than me who's fucking gorgeous and adorable." Beomgyu smacks Yeonjun with the cushion and then returns to lie on the couch, letting out another groan.

Yeonjun remains stoned for a moment but then cackles at the sudden realization of what the latter just said.

"Why the hell are you laughing?" Beomgyu asks, pissed.

"Well, you didn't meet the hunter. But you met his son whom you called gorgeous and adorable." Yeonjun smirks with an eyebrow up.

"When did I say that he was gorgeous and adorable??!!" Beomgyu raises his voice.

"Geez, you have the memory of a goldfish." Yeonjun rolls his eyes, earning another cushion throw towards him. "So, what else happened?"

Beomgyu covers his face with another cushion. "He called me his-" Beomgyu mumbles.

"He called you what? Stop mumbling for fuck's sake!" Yeonjun exclaims, removing the cushion away from Beomgyu, which causes the latter to immediately sit up and scream his entirety out.

"He called me his guardian Angel!! Like, what the fuck?! He claimed that I was in his dreams because of the gold contact lenses that I wore, and I swear to God hyung, I tried to run away but, Taehyun kept on pulling me and insisting that I was his guardian Angel and there was really no way out so, I agreed with all his bullshit and OH MY GOD, ME?? A VAMPIRE?? AS A GUARDIAN ANGEL?? I get that I look like an Angel, but I'm not a literal one??!!" Beomgyu raps out his words, taking deep breaths in and out right after to calm himself.

Yeonjun looks back at the younger with eyes wide due to his sudden outburst. But, Yeonjun being Yeonjun, can't help but laugh right after. This time hard. Yeonjun guffaws hysterically like a maniac at what Beomgyu just told him. The brunette instantly sits up and delivers punches to Yeonjun's side. Yeonjun continues to laugh while dodging Beomgyu's hits.

"So, you're telling me, he thought you were like his immortal care taker?" Yeonjun reconfirms.

"Yes!! Utter bullshit hyung." Beomgyu sighs in frustration, running his fingers through his hair.

"Taehyun, is it? His name?"

"How do you know??"

"You mentioned his name, dumbass."

Beomgyu rolls his eyes and gets up from the couch. "Whatever, I need to cool off. I'll be taking a shower."

"You still have school y'know, which is in 4 hours." Yeonjun informs.

Beomgyu waves his hands. "Whatever, I'll take a short nap after."

The brunette strips off every last bit of his clothing before stepping into the shower. He lets the cool water from the shower head to run down his body. Beomgyu sighs, with everything that happened the past hour, a cold shower surely makes up for everything. He then thinks back to what Yeonjun mentioned to him.

They did a family background check, and found out that the hunter doesn't have any family. However, Taehyun claimed to be his son. Was there something missed? Could it be, that the hunter hid Taehyun so that he wouldn't be targeted by vampires if they knew he had a son?

Beomgyu shakes off the feeling and continues to bathe himself.

He shouldn't bother about Taehyun. He's out for the hunter.

Or maybe, he should just murder both?

Beomgyu steps out from the shower and puts on his usually loose shirt and sweat pants. Beomgyu makes his way to the kitchen and opens up one of the cabinets to pull out what seems like a bottle of wine, instead, is a bottle of animal blood that he had brought back from Wolgwang.

He pops the cap of the bottle open and pours a glass for him to drink. Of course, as vampires, they can drink and eat like regular humans, but their thirst of blood will remain. Animal blood is fine, but at times, human blood is most needed so that vampires won't go berserk.

Beomgyu brings the glass of blood with him and walks to the balcony. He admires the sight of Seoul at night that he has been daring to see, only to be interrupted by an unexpected visit.

"Interesting encounter you had tonight?" a familiar voice ring in Beomgyu's eardrums. He didn't have to turn to his side to know who it was.

"What are you doing here, San?" Beomgyu asks.

San appears with blotches of blood staining his white shirt that's unbuttoned halfway. He runs his fingers across his hair and crosses his legs as he sits at the railing of the balcony. With a vampire's natural ability, Beomgyu isn't surprised if San jumped from roof to roof or even climbed on the railings of the apartments here to be able to reach Yeonjun's apartment which is on the 14th floor.

"Met Kang Junhee already?" San asks.

'Ahh...' Beomgyu thought. 'He really thinks he met the hunter.'

Perhaps, he doesn't know about Taehyun too?

Beomgyu sneers at the latter while eyeing him from the side. He clicks his tongue in annoyance.

"It's none of your business. It just shows I'm one step ahead from you." Beomgyu says.

San rolls his eyes. "You won't even spare some info?"

"Back off, San. I'm winning this fair and square."

"Tsk- well, whatever. I'm just waiting for the right time to strike. Bye, couz." San winks at Beomgyu, before leaning behind and letting himself fall from the railing.

Beomgyu observes as he watches San fall from the 14th floor, only to land gracefully on his feet. San waves at Beomgyu from below and the latter doesn't spare a glance, instead walks back inside the living room and shutting the sliding door to the balcony close.

"Beomgyu, for fuck's sake, you've got 3 hours until school." Yeonjun reminds.

"Geez, stop being such a mom." Beomgyu rubs the back of his neck in annoyance. "I'm taking a nap right now."

"Who were you talking at the balcony?" Yeonjun asks.

"San dropped by."

Yeonjun's eyebrows furrow at the name. "What's that bastard doing here?"

Beomgyu shrugs his shoulders. "Nothing to worry about. That's it. I'm taking a nap. Wake me up in two hours." Beomgyu says as he walks pass Yeonjun while tapping the older's shoulder and making his way to his room to get a shut eye.

Beomgyu drops his self onto the mattress of his bed. He lets his eyelids drop as he drifts into a short nap. Vampires too, need adequate sleep, but Beomgyu, might appear sleep deprived on his first day of school as a human.

Like he cares.

Again, Beomgyu feels his stomach churn with butterflies and a tingling feeling in his chest. It's the exact same feeling he got before he went to Seoul and when he was at Taehyun's place.

As if something awaits him.
