Zara was sitting at her desk when her phone buzzed. She looked down at her screen to see a notification from Sock Man. She realized it was her brother and picked up to see a text from him.

Z: Party at my house tonight. You coming?

Z: Yeah, sure. What time?

Z: 6:30

Z: Alright.

She set her phone down and began to finish the report her boss needed. She typed swiftly, her fingers flying across the keyboard.

After a few hours, her shift finally ended. She grabbed her things and headed towards her car. She set her stuff in the passenger seat and drove towards her apartment to change out of her work clothes before the party.

She pulled into the parking garage and walked up the stairs to her apartment, unlocking the door and heading towards her bedroom.

She peeled off her work clothes and tossed them into a hamper before swapping them out for an oversized Van Halen shirt and a pair of black cargo shorts.

She walked back out to her car and drove towards Zack's house.

When she arrived, there was more people than she expected. There had to be at least 25 people there. She parked down the street and walked up to his door, knocking gently.

The door soon swung open to reveal a tall man with long black hair, brown eyes, and several tattoos.

"Hey Zack! Who's the hottie with the body?" He asked as Zack came up to the door.

"Oh, this is my sister, Zara," he answered as he welcomed her in.

"Sister?" He asked as he looked down at her.

"Yep," he answered.

"Zara, this is Brian. Brian, this is my sister, Zara," he said as he introduced them to each other.

She gave him a small smile before heading towards the kitchen for a drink. She opened the fridge and grabbed a beer before turning around to see another tall man with black hair, several tattoos, but he had blue eyes instead.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"I'm Zara. Zack's younger sister," she answered.

"Sister?" He asked shocked.

"Yep," she nodded.

He nodded and walked off. She exited the back door and walked into the back yard, quickly being waved over by Zack to a table of his other friends.

"Zara, this is Matt and Johnny," he said as he pointed to two men.

One was short, and one was tall. They were both covered in tattoos, had brown hair, and had hazel eyes.

"Nice to meet you," the taller one, Matt, said with a smile as he extended his hand for her to shake.

She returned his smile and shook his hand before turning towards the shorter one, Johnny, who was still standing there with his jaw dropped in shock.

"Earth to Johnny," Zack said sarcastically as he waved a hand in front of his face.

"Sorry," he apologized as his cheeks turned red.

"I'm just trying to figure out how this," he said as he pointed at her. "Is related to this," he added as he pointed at Zack.

"Dick," he muttered as he punched him in the shoulder.

She simply rolled her eyes and let out a small laugh as she took a sip of her beer. Matt laughed and patted Johnny on the head, causing him to look up at Matt and stick his lip out in a fake pout.

"Aww, poor Johnny," he teased.

Johnny hit him in the side and glared at him before he walked away, joining Jimmy and Brian by the pool.

"So, Zara," Matt said out of the blue.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"You like Van Halen?" He asked as he gestured to her shirt.

"Yeah! My dad introduced me to them when I was a kid and I've loved them ever since," she admitted.

He nodded and cracked a small smile.

By this time, she had already finished her beer. She went inside and grabbed another before returning to the group that consisted of her, Matt, and Zack.

All of sudden you could hear Johnny yell as everyone turned around to see Jimmy holding him over the edge of the pool.

"Let me go, you asshole!" He yelled as he tried to break free.

"If you say so," Jimmy smirked as he let go of Johnny, into the pool.

"You motherfucker!" He yelled as he resurfaced.

"You told me to let you go, so I did," Jimmy responded as he put his hands up in defense.

He climbed out of the pool and began to chase Jimmy around the yard, yelling and hitting him.

Everyone else laughed as they watched the chase. It was like a scene out of Looney Tunes.

Near the end of her second beer, she began to feel a bit tipsy. Not wanting to pass out on the patio, she went inside and sat down on the couch.

The last thing she remembered was setting the empty beer bottle on the coffee table and leaning back against the couch.
