The next morning, she woke up with a raging headache. She groaned as she went to sit up, only to feel a weight around her waist.

She thought that it was strange as she looked down to see an arm wrapped around her waist. Her eyes went wide as she panicked quietly.

She examined the arm, trying to figure out who it was. It was covered in tattoos, tattoos that looked familiar, but she couldn't quite place.

She turned her head slightly to see if the person was awake. After she had observed that they were still asleep, she gently tried to remove the arm from her waist.

As soon as she touched it, the person stirred, slightly tightening their grip, pulling the covers down slightly, causing her to realize that she didn't have any clothes on. She panicked more as she tried again, this time being successful, but accidentally waking the person up.

The person rubbed their eyes and groaned softly, propping themselves up on their elbows.

As they propped themselves up, she realized who it was.

Matt.

"Shit," she muttered as she sat up and used the sheets to cover herself.

He turned his head to look at her and his eyes went wide as he realized who it was.

"Shit," he muttered as he sat up fully.

They both stared at each other in shock as they tried to piece together what had happened.

"Zack is gonna kill me," she muttered.

"It'll be okay," he reassured her.

"Let's just pretend this didn't happen," he suggested with a shrug.

"Yeah, that works," she agreed, with a quick nod.

Before either of them could do anything, the door swung open to reveal Zack. His eyes went wide and his jaw dropped as he felt a mix of emotions, anger and confusion.

"What the hell is going on here?" He asked angrily.

"Look, I know you're mad, but don't take it out on her," Matt said calmly.

"I wouldn't take it out on her! She's my sister! My sister for fuck's sake!" He yelled as his hands clenched into fists at his side.

She quietly slipped out of the bed and grabbed the sheets, leaving the blanket as she wrapped them around herself and collected her clothes. She made her way to the bathroom and locked the door behind her, taking a second to collect herself before putting her clothes back on.

When she was finished, she returned to the room with the two yelling men and quickly grabbed her phone and car keys before heading out to her car. She climbed into the drivers seat and drove towards her apartment.

When she arrived, she shut the door behind her, set her keys down on the counter and walked to her bedroom, grabbing stuff for a shower.

She entered the bedroom and turned the shower on, waiting until the temperature was just right before stepping in, trying to forget about what had happened.

She let the warm water run down her back, trying to clear her mind. After about 20 minutes, she got out and got dressed.

She walked to the kitchen and grabbed a drink, taking sip when she heard a knock at her door. She set her glass down and walked over to the door, opening it to see Zack.

"Hey," he said nonchalantly with a shrug.

"Hey," she responded, somewhat confused as to why he was here.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

"Sure," she shrugged as she let him in.

He entered her apartment and looked around for a second before facing her.

"I wanted to talk about what happened earlier," he stated.

"What about it?" She asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Well, I wanted to apologize. Matt explained what had happened and that it was an accident. I'm sorry for going bonkers on you guys," he admitted as he rubbed the back of his neck gently.

"It's fine. I can assure you that it won't happen again. I don't think of Matt in that way," she reassured him.

"Even?" He asked as she extended his hand.

"Even," she agreed as she shook his hand.

"Oh, by the way, I may or may not have invited the guys to the reunion tomorrow," he said with a please-don't-hate-me smile.

"Alright," she shrugged.

"I'll see you tomorrow then," he said as he walked towards the door.

"See you tomorrow," she nodded and gave him a hug before he left.

She locked the door behind him and walked back into her kitchen, preheating the oven for mozzarella sticks and finishing her drink before heading towards her living room.

She sat down on the couch and turned on her tv, going to Netflix and turning on her favorite show, Supernatural. When the oven beeped to let her know it was preheated, she paused her show and went back into the kitchen.

She put the mozzarella sticks on the tray and put them in the oven, setting a timer before walking back to the living room and resuming her show.

After a few minutes, the oven beeped. She stood up and walked to the kitchen, taking the tray out of the oven, putting the mozzarella sticks on a plate, and shutting the oven off before walking back to the living room, sitting back down, and resuming her show.

When she was finished, she felt tired. She took care of her plate and shut the tv off before walking to her bedroom and climbing beneath the sheets, soon falling asleep.
