Black - Pearl Jam

'Holy shit Cherry, Holy shit, HOLY SHIT!' Robbie paced around the hotel room, her voice growing louder by the second.
'This is fucking insane, I cannot believe this, what the fuck!', she stopped pacing suddenly, deciding instead to clap her hands with glee, a shit-eating smile taking over her face. Cherry laughed lovingly, knowing how long it had been since she'd seen her friend so happy.
'Do you really think he wants me?' Robbie asked hopefully, just as a pillow came flying towards her head.

'Not if you keep screaming the fucking hotel down.' Axls deep voice growled, pulling the covers over head, desperately trying to recover from last nights partying.
Both the girls ignored Axl, continuing on with their conversation, 'Oh 100% he does, I mean who wouldn't babe, look at ya!' Cherry encouraged her best friend wiggling her eyebrows, 'So, did he give you a kiss goodnight?'
'Yeah, just a peck, it was so cute, he got all shy and everything, although i'm pretty sure he only kissed me to shut me up.' Robbie chuckled.

'So there is a way to make you shut up?' A muffled voice came from under the duvet.
'Yeah pucker up buttercup.' Robbie pouted her lips and leaned in close to Axl, causing him to shoot up out of bed and making a gagging noise.
Cherry continued to laugh as she dragged Robbie away, 'Cmon hun, let's go get a coffee and leave sleeping beauty alone.'

⭑ Kirk's room ⭑
'Shit man, so ya finally gunna admit it.'
'Admit what?' James scowled.
'That you loooovvvvveee her.' Kirk sung merrily, as a head poped up from under the duvet.

'You love who?' A girl with short red hair spoke up, last nights makeup still smeared under her eyes. Finally James cracked a smile, proud of Kirk for getting himself laid without Lars' interjections.
Kirk whipped his head round, seemingly forgetting the girl was in bed with him, 'You know the chick who sings in Frisk?'
'Shit yeah, Robbie right? She's a total smoke show,' She turned slowly to James, 'Wait...that's who you love?'
James retorted defensively, 'I don't love her. I barley know her. I just, she's, I think, we, I don't know, it's stupid.'
'Well good luck dude.' The girl snorted, before lying back down.
'The hell's that supposed to mean-' James paused, realising he didn't actually know her name.
'Jess.' Kirk clarified for him.
'What the hell is that supposed to mean Jess?' James continued accusingly.

'Well I was talking with her last night, and besides from the fact that literally every guy in that club was also in love with her, she spent the whole night talking about some guy she was like head over heals for, that she'd had a crush on forever.'
James sulked at that comment, his heart breaking just a little bit, as reality began to set in.
'Yeah well whatever, I don't like her anyway, we were drunk and it didn't mean anything.'
'Dude cmon, you know you like her, she could have been talking about you!' Kirk protested, knowing how much James had grown to like Robbie, despite his pretence of hating her.
'Yeah right, she's got every guy in the world wrapped around her finger and she wants me, fat chance.'
'James-' Jess began softly, before she was cut off.
'Whatever, Im going for a walk.' With that he strides out of the hotel room, as Kirk and Jess got back down to business.

'God he's so sexy though, when he's got that black vest on, I just wanna-', Cherry jabbed Robbie in the ribs, as none other than James Hetfield came striding towards them.
'Hey James.' Cherry smiled knowingly.
'Hi.' James spoke, avoiding her gaze.
'Hi.' Robbie grinned at the blonde.
'Can we talk?' James asked, pulling Robbie away from her friend.

'What's up J?' Robbie asked, her smile faltering as she felt James retort from her endearment.
'I know you already know this, cuz you're not stupid, but I know other people on tour are and I just wanted to clear the air,' James continued, still avoiding her eyes, 'last night meant nothing, we were just drunk and having a good time, I walked you back to your room because I didn't want some creep taking advantage.'

Robbie nodded along, automatically putting up a defence at James' cold worlds, 'Oh my god James I'm sooo glad you came to speak to me, I was worried you got the wrong idea and it was going to be really awkward.' Robbie painted a smile on her pretty face, but it wouldn't quite reach her eyes, no matter how much she tried.
'Um-', James choked on his words, not getting the response he'd anticipated, 'Well i'm glad we're on the same page I guess.'
'Yeah totally, I mean imagine if people thought we were dating,' Robbie laughed callously,'You're like a big brother to me James,' Her words cutting deep, just like she'd intended, 'Anyways I gotta eat I'm starving, see you at soundcheck later.' Robbie waved and smiled politely, before skipping back towards Cherry, and heading out the door.
