He made his way to Cassie's and Lexi's house because he knew Maddy would be there.
He got out of his car and just when he wanted to knock at the door someone opened it. Kat Hernandez.
Jake was surprised by Kat opening the door but to be honest he was relieved too. It would be kind of weird if Cassie's and Lexi's mother had opened the door. Don't get me wrong Jake and Suze Howard had a good relationship but it was awkward sometimes because Suze knew Cassie has a huge crush on Jake and she would ask him questions about Cassie.
Once she asked him what he would do if Cassie was pregnant. He was shocked by that question but tried to hide it even though I think everyone saw that. That's when Cassie intervened with a loud "Mom, are you serious right now?" while grabbing Jake by his arm and dragging him out of the room. There are many more stories about Suze questions but I think you do know how they went.
When Kat opened the door she greets him with a "Are you really wearing this tonight?" while looking him up and down.
He sighs. "You know, I won't fuck you tonight so you shouldn't care" says Jake while rolling his eyes. It's not like he was wearing something weird. Just a normal black baggy jeans with a dark T-shirt.
Kat looks at him once again in a really weird way. She lets her tongue slip through her lips. "Don't worry, I wouldn't fuck you either. I don't know what Cass sees in you. It's not like you're hot" she says while rubbing her arm.
No, it's not what you think. Kat and Jake are always like this. They don't mean it like that though. They are teasing each other but don't worry, they are like best buddies. Jake and Kat are friends since 5th grade but that's just because of Maddy.
"Well, some people say my dick's hot though" says Jake smirking while biting his tongue in a teasy way.
Kat rolls her eyes in disbelief. "God, are you like always talking about your fucking dick?" she says while opening the door for him to walk in.
Jake just smiles at her. As he gets in he sees a woman clearly older than him. She has brown hair and I think you do know who she is. Suze Howard. Jake looked at her than at the floor not really wanting to talk to her.
"Hey Jackboy" she greets him with a small smile forming on her lips. Yeah, that's what Suze calls him since he was a kid. Jackboy. I mean why Jackboy isn't it like weird? Well Suze doesn't care about that.
"Hey" Jake said with a fake smile. He looks at Kat just to see her laughing. Then he rolled his eyes. It's not like Kat never heard of his nickname.
"The girls should be ready soon. Just make yourself comfortable. It's not like you never were here before." she said with a chuckle looking at the stairs and back to Jake.
"Yeah, thank you Miss Howard" the brown-haired boy said.
"We had that conversation before, you can call me Suze" she said rolling her eyes at him walking out of the room.
"Never seen you this nice before, Jackboy" Kat said laughing at him with a bright smile.
Jake couldn't help himself smiling a bit too. "Shut up, Hernandez" he said with a small chuckle across his lips.
Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked around to see Maddy Perez standing there in her short black dress with a smile.
"I think we need to go shopping, big boy." she said leaning on his shoulder.
"I think you girls need to learn more about style." he said shrugging his shoulders with a small smile. Maddy Perez was probably the most stylish person he knew and he would definitely wear the clothes she would pick out for him when they are going shopping. Normally they are going shopping together cause Maddy needs a person holding her bags and Jake needs someone picking out some clothes for him. That's kind of funny cause he normally seems like a boy who would never do anything like holding bags.
"Don't cry about it, baby. It's just that you could have dressed more spicy you know." she said checking him out.
Diana comes down the stairs. "Just because Maddy wants to stare at you for the whole night." Diana said smirking.
The Latina just rolled her eyes at Diana. "He's not my type. I don't like drug addicted boys." she said shrugging.
That kind of hurt. Jake never wanted to become drug addicted but it's just the feeling of escaping reality, you know? He would do anything to change the fact that he's addicted cause he never wanted to live like that. Instead of saying something mean he just looked away smiling.
Maddy saw it and felt kind of guilty for saying the words she just spoke out loud. She looked at him worried. Even though she would never say it she feels something for him. And he does clearly too.
Kat felt the sudden tension between everyone so she decided to speak up. "I think you and Cassie would be cute together. Just like old times." That kind of shocked Maddy and Diana.
"Yeah, the 'old times' are over and you know Cassie is with McKay now" Maddy said pressing her lips together. The tension Kat wanted to break suddenly was more. And everyone just waited for Cassie to come downstairs.
"Actually they broke up cause McKay abused her while they were having sex." Kat said with a caring face.
Maddy looked at her in disbelief with a 'bitch are you serious right now' face. But before she could say something another person spoke up.
"McKay abused her?" Jake asked still not believing it. He never had something against McKay. Just that he's friends with his Nate and he stole Cassie from him. Yeah, that enough to have something against him, you're right. But he abusing Cassie? That sounds weird.
"Yeah, she had some bruises on her neck. And I talked to her." Kat responded.
Just then Cassie came down in a beautiful dress. "Alright, can we go now?" Jake said fixing his shirt with a small smile on his face greeting Cassie.
"Yeah, I'll sit at the passenger seat" Diana said grabbing Jake's arm. She wasn't even nearly in the same height as Jake. Jake was a tall boy just like his brother. That's why he is the quarterback in the football team.
"No way bitch, I'm the one sitting in the front. My dress will get dirty in the backseat." Maddy said grabbing Jake's shirt pulling him closer to her.
Jake just rolled his eyes. He got himself out of the tight grip from Maddy hand and walked to the car with Kat. He sat down in the driver seat and saw Maddy and Diana fighting for the front seat.
"Are you guys like fucking or something?" he said to the girls rubbing his thighs with his hands. Cassie and Kat already sat down on the backseat cause they knew it would be useless to fight with them.
Few minutes later they both agreed with Maddy sitting in the front. Jake kind of chuckled at the look on their faces. Maddy and Diana were pissed and Cassie already drunk as fuck. Kat just smiled.
"You know you're fucking annoying, cunt" Maddy said looking at him clearly pissed.
That's when someone from the back bursted out laughing making Jake and Maddy look behind them. Kat couldn't help herself anymore and started laughing. The brown-haired boy was laughing now too causing Maddy to give him a look and slapping his shoulder.
When they arrived everyone got out of the car. They opened the door to the party and Jake got himself straight into the kitchen, taking some shots. This party will be wild as fuck, he thought to himself glancing to the door seeing someone he wouldn't had expected to see.
