After the defeat of Krux on Mailk, Annerose, riku are joined By Asagi who was in the kaio system to try stop krux from destroying the Kaio system and the ultimate form that remains dormant.

After going through a portal that took them to a far away star system, Riku and annerose found out that they couldn't summon spectrobes without a device called a Cosmolink. With the help of an elderly man named Radese and the assistance of Asagi, they were able to acquire the power of the cosmolink, allowing them to summon their spectrobes once more but as it turns out, they were quite weakened but were still able to fight.

Asagi: aside from the cloak, hood and Mask. it's easy to move around in. Which helps because i'm defending these people.

Riku: a little bit. I know a few things from kendo classes but the rest i learned in battle or from annerose. She helped me become more skilled but in comparison to you two, i'm just a beginner. I learned some basic slash attacks from a spectrobe back home.
Annerose: don't sell yourself short, you've more than proven your skills in battle. I'm glad you to have you fighting by my side.
Riku: maybe but there's still always room for improvement. Even the most skilled fighter needs to train.
Asagi; well said.
Annerose: Agreed.
Riku; I promise i won't slow us down. I'm going to fight with everything i have.

Asagi; As am i. Like you said about our skills with swords, i'm a new to being a spectrobe master. If anything, you're my superior in that department, same with you annerose.
Annerose: Maybe. Riku pretty much got the gist of controlling them by watching me.
