In Route 8 we get another encounter, and it hatches into Blitzle, I'm sure I'll use that.

Over in Miara Town, we kill our encounter due to a misclick, but it's fine, I'm sure it wasn't even a good one anyway.
Luckily we make up for it by catching an encounter in both the Stormy Seas and Whirl Islands.
From our first egg we get a Bouffalant.
