chapter 3 Ponders pov

Ponders pov

A/N just to be clear every chapter is the first day of school up until lunch just from different people's perspectives :3

I almost ran into the school. I was so happy to be back. I've missed my friends and teachers! I looked down at my schedule, I have art first. I love art! I was skipping to class saying Hi to everyone I knew and the few people I didn't. Today is going to be a great day! I'm wearing my favorite green shirt and jeans!

My beautiful purple orbs shined as I skipped down the hall as my fluffy orange hair bounced with my step.

I walked into art class and smiled at the teacher. He waved at me. I sat down in the front row. Everything about today is so perfect. We had to make name tags. My handwriting isn't perfect but I think it's good enough. I drew a little version of myself with coins and a  super cute chicken! I handed mine in right before the bell rang.

My next class was foods, eekk! I'm super excited! Maybe I'll learn how to make food for all my friends! I almost ran to my class. I saw the teacher standing outside the door.

"Whoa whoa little dude, chill out" He said smiling.

"Sorry I'm just sosososososososososo excited for this class!" I was basically jumping with excitement at this point.

"Well I'm sure you'll enjoy this then" He handed me a small thin book. I opened it and it had a lot of recipes in it."Go sit down kid"

I smiled and sat down at a table next to the teachers desk. I guess it wasn't in the front but I'd rather be close to the teacher than in the front row.

During the class the teacher taught us how to use the ovens and showed us what we'd be making. Everything was in the book he gave me. Only a few other kids had the book, maybe only kids who wanted it got it?

The bell rang way too soon and I sadly had to leave food. I looked down to see what class I had next. Gym oh shoot that across the school. I started running. I can't be late!

Once I entered the gym the teacher said to put my bag on the top of the closed bleachers. I had to climb up on the steps like a ladder because I'm just too little. At least I wasn't the only little person. Another kid was being lifted up by a different person. The kid being lifted was wearing a schoolgirl outfit. Cool. I climbed down and started walking towards the boys locker room. I saw the two other kids trailing behind. Maybe we'll all end up friends. I love making new friends.

The locker room skunk. It's the first day and only 3rd hour. How does it smell so bad already? I saw the other people had lockers really close to me. We are also the first ones in here. It's now or never. I looked over and waved "I'm Ponder nice to meet you guys" I smiled at them.

"Hello?" The taller one who looked like a demon looked at me

"Hi! Im Garf nice to meet you Ponder" The one who was wearing the schoolgirl outfit said with a bright smile. He wasn't wearing the outfit anymore though.Now he was wearing long gym shorts and a t-shirt, wow he changed fast.

"Nice to meet you Garf" I smiled. The taller one I think Graf called them Xornoth stepped back a bit from his locker. He had a protective look on his face but didn't look at me or Garf. Garf awkwardly smiled at me. I shrugged and smiled back. I needed to get changed anyway. I was too busy talking.

Right as i finished changing someone threw an egg at one of the lockers next to me. It scared me a bit. I jumped back a tad and bumped into Xornoth. "Sorry" I was worried he was mad but Xornoth just laughed.

"All good, you're just as jumpy as Garfeild" Xornoth backed up a bit. That's fair. "Let's get out of here before it becomes a war zone"

Garf nodded "Yeah, that's a good idea" We all hurried out of the locker room as it ascended into chaos.

There were a lot of kids sitting down on the side lines. Must be the kids who didn't bring gym clothes. We shouldn't be expected to remember something like gym clothes on the first day.

All we did was a ton of stretches and a push up, sit up and pull up test. At least the kids who had gym clothes did. It was a pretty simple day.

At the end me Garf and Xornoth decided that we needed to be the first ones in the locker room so even as sweaty and tired we all were we booked it. Xornoth may or may not have pushed a lot of kids. We did meet our goal though. Once in the locker room when Garf opened his locker and grabbed his clothes Xornoth pushed him towards the bathroom. "I don't want that many people being able to see you change."

Garf just shrugged and went to the bathroom with his clothes in hand. Xornoth is either his overprotective boyfriend or a very odd friend. I'm hoping for the first option. Without Garf I wasn't sure how to talk to Xornoth. That will go away though. Me and Xornoth will be great friends. "Umm, What class do you have next?" I glanced over at Xornoth.

"I go straight to lunch after this and so does Garf, you?" He didn't look back at me. That's fine though.

"I do too! We could sit together at lunch if you'd like" I'm so happy! Me, Xornoth and Garf will be the bestest of friends.

"If Garfield wants to, sure" Xornoth finally looked at me and softly smiled.
Me and Xornoth chatted until we met up with Garf who was trying to get his backpack. I laughed and my purple orbs shined with my laugh. Xornoth went over and grabbed Garfs bag. I had to climb back up the bleachers again. "Garf maybe tomorrow put your bag next to mine, it'll be easier to get"

"Oh that's smart!" Garf smiled at me as I jumped down.

"Garf, do you want to sit with Ponder at lunch? They mentioned they have it with us" Xornoth looked over at Garf and Garf head shot backwards toward Xornoth.

"Yes yes yes!" Garf was almost jumping.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Xornoth smiled. Graf grabbed my wrist and Xornoths hand and we all walked to the cafeteria.

Most of lunch Xornoth was flirting with Garf but it was pretty fun to watch so I'm happy and everyone else was too.
