Unexpected

Chapter ~ 6

                 I woke up today with a smile on my face remembering yesterday. I was still in shock how much of a great guy zayn was. I remember when i was younger i used to like him but i stopped caring for them as i got older. Never did i ever think i would end up going on a date with zayn. Such a good feeling right now. My phone then buzzed and i went to check it, i smiled the minute i saw the text.

"goodmorning beautiful xx" 

i couldnt help but smile, everytime he calls me beautiful i always blush and my heart flutters. Just the thought of him right now makes me smile.

"goodmorning(:  x" i texted back

just then my mom called, i forgot that i still havent spoken to her so i happily answered

We talked for a while and then she asked me about my job, crap i forgot that i had to find one, i told her the minute i got here i would find one but i've been so busy lately. We carried on talking for a while and then she had to go so i decided to dress up and go find a job. 

I wore a peach top with a black blazer over it along with black leggings and my leather black boots. I curled my hair a bit to make it wavy and long. I wore my gold key necklace and sprayed some perfume. I did my make up but left a natural look. I grabbed my purse and headed out. I had no idea where to start looking for a job so i just started walking in the city till i found something good enough.

I was walking around london for what seemed hours till i found probably the biggest Hollister I have ever seen, it was 2 stories high and next to many boutiques. Alot of people were in it and it looked like a great place to work. I used to work at a Hollister back home so i would know my way around.

I walked in and asked to apply for a job at the front desk, i was seated in the backroom as i waited for the manager to come.  Only a couple minutes later a very welcoming about 30 year old woman came in holding papers. Her name was Melissa. She greeted me and we started talking about my history with jobs and i filled out all the applications. She seemed pleased with me and she especially liked me because of my american accent which made no sense? she told me american accents were big here so  i guess thats why. She said i can start work on monday and id have to work from 12pm-6pm. Sounds good i thought. Today was Friday so that gives me the weekend to relax before work. 

I'm only working part time because i didnt need the money too bad right now but im sure i will in the future. I thanked her and left Hollister. I was glad that i got a good job plus it paid well so i was happy. 

It was about 6pm by now and i was hungry so i grabbed some lunch and took it home. I was walking to my flat and was fiddling with my keys. I saw a girl at the corner of my eyes who must be my neighbor, she was fiddling through her purse obviously trying to find her keys as well. I looked at her for a second and she looked up too so i just smiled which she then returned. She walked a bit closer till she finally spoke

"You must be the new neighbor, I'm Kadyn" she said in a heavy british accent and smiled. she was really sweet, though i just met her i feel like we already connect. 

"Lovely to meet you, i'm Nora" i said and smiled which she happily returned

"woah, you're not from here are you?" she asked obviously realizing my change of voice

"aha nope, from the US" i said, she nodded and we carried on chatting a little. we exchanged numbers and agreed to hang out sometime. She was lovely and we had such similar personalities. After saying our goodbyes i walked into my flat closing the door behind me. I'm glad i made a new friend here who also happens to be my neighbor. 

I was so bored just sitting on my couch watching tv on a friday night. Back home i probably would have been out having fun and hanging with friends but it was different here, i was still new. I was bored so i decided to check my twitter. I made my twitter the day before i left to london to keep in touch with my friends and fam. I tweeted a couple of my friends and logged out. It was only 8 and i was still incredibly bored. It was way too early to sleep so i decided to go over Kadyn's flat. I know we just met like an hour ago but i feel like i can talk to her already.

I walked over to her flat and she opened with a big smile on her face. 

"Hey Nora, what's up?" she said cheerfully, she was in her sweats so i could tell she wasnt doing anything.

"Hey just wondering if you wanted to hang a bit? I'm incredibly bored aha" i said and as if possible her smile grew bigger

"yeah of course! im dieing of boredom too, come on in" she said, i laughed she was so nice

We just sat watching movies and cracking up the wholetime. The amount of junk food we ate was unbelievable, it felt like i've known her for years! Just then my phone buzzed, i got a text. When i checked that it was from zayn i couldnt help but smile

"ohhh who's the text from? your boyfriend??" she asked in a flirty tone, i couldnt help but laugh

"aha i wish" i said 

"aww, whats his name?" she asked

"zayn" and i smiled when i said his name

"hm sounds familiar, wait hold on is he in that band one direction?" she asked getting more excited in our conversation

"maybee" i said 

"aha omg nora! why didnt you tell me! you've only been in london for what 3 days and you already know him! millions of girls would be jealous now" she said

"im sorry! it never came to me ahah, are you a fan?" i asked

"ehh, i know their music but not like obsessed. i have always liked that curly haired boy though, whats his name again um, harry i think? yeah harry, he seems lovely" she said, i chuckled a bit

"sooo, what did he text you" she asked 

"he wants to know if i can see a movie with him sunday" i replied, of course i wanted to! i've been dieing to see him again since yesterday! 

"so do you want to?" she asked

"yesss of coursee!!" i practically shouted at her, she started laughing at my response

i texted zayn back saying, "that'd be lovely  x" 

he replied in a matter of seconds, "great, cant wait to see you again babe x"  i couldnt help but blush, i dont even know why.

"awwww someone's blushing" kadyn said, i didnt even notice she had stopped laughing and was staring at me the whole time. i covered my face to stop from blushing only to have her laugh at me some more. 

We carried on with our night laughing and watching more films till it was getting late and i decided to head home.

"thanks again for letting me over Kadyn! I had so much fun! goodnight!" i told her and gave her a quick hug

"yeah no problem, was a lot of fun. we should hangout again sometime!" she said, i nodded and headed home. 

It was still friday and the date with Zayn was on sunday. If only time could speed up to Sunday. I went to sleep excited for the upcoming day and drifting off into deep sleep.
