I'm jolted awake by screams. I shoot up and so do the boys. I quickly look around. No one is in the room I rush to get clothes on and almost trip on my own feet as I pull my dress over my head. I reach the window and open the curtains. There's people everywhere attacking each other. I see the neighbors chasing people. And men with guns. There's too much and the screams are killing me. "What's going on?" I whisper."
Sam's behind me " looks like the zombies made it here. I thought it would at least take a day"
" What do we do" I ask and turn
Curtis is there too, "we pack and run" "it looks like the military is trying to get it under control." I look back outside and my eyes lock with one of them. The tingles rush up my spine and I know what that means
"We need him to come with us" I say and point to one of the men with guns. He's got deep brown hair with gray streaks in and almost buzzed style.
Sam's growls " another one? I'm okay sharing but wow that was fast, fate likes to make things complicated."
" Well at least we have help in this new hell whole" a grin spreads across my face as my new man makes his way to Curtiss house. Another man with black hair joins him killing1 anything that comes between them and the house. Sam nips at my neck and Curtis bites and sucks it. My new man winks at me and I moan. I rush to the front door to unlock it letting the new men into the house and quickly locking it behind them, leaning on it and taking some deep breaths.
Suddenly I'm pulled into a hard chest. Pure muscle surrounds me . I let out a soft sigh. Loving his body against mine. His hot breath against my neck.
" What's your name angel?" His gruff voice hits me making my body shiver as heat floods it.
"Harper Morningstar." I basically moan out.
He flips me around. Raising my eyes to meet his I shiver as they make contact. Sparks fly again as I look to his friend. With his dark hair and equally dark skin, muscles covered by army green. They're the hottest men I've ever laid eyes on.
"Damn" I breath
Loud laughs come from all the men.
The first man gives a deep laugh then says "well Angel my name is Theo and my partner over there is Isaac. We're part of the team tasked to eliminate the zombies in this area."
"Oh" is all I can say before he continues
" They will be bombing this city at first light. We need to get you guys packed and to the bunker before then"
He looks around "we have to be fast. I'll help Harper you guys get your stuff and Isaac will get the cars ready. Meet in the garage in 30 minutes. Everyone got it?"
With that we take off. I grab Curtis s keys and run out the door following Theo as he shoots everything that moves.
