Hello Readers 💜,

This isn't just my story; it's a tale woven from the lives of those who have surrounded me for an eternity. That's why I've chosen to entitle it "A Cocktail of Love." So, let's embark on this journey together, and I hope it touches your heart ❤️ deeply.

Today marks a significant milestone in my life. For the first time, I'm stepping out of the familiar confines of my home, and the air is thick with excitement and anxiety. A whirlwind 🌪️ of activity fills our house as I prepare to venture out. The morning sun filters casting a warm glow on the  household. The aroma of freshly made coffee mingles with the scent of my mother's favorite lavender air freshener, creating a comforting backdrop to the chaos.

"Jade, wake up, we're going to be late," my father's voice, always hurried, echoes through the house. We still have more than six hours before we need to leave, but he rushes around as if we're leaking time ⏳.
My father, a medium - height man with a shaped but serious face, moves from room to room, his footsteps quick and urgent against the wooden floors.

Unlike my father, my mother is a calm and organized person. She moves gracefully around the room, her soft eyes and gentle smile offering a sense of calm. Watching her prepare breakfast with effortless ease and my father's frantic energy creates a contrasting picture.
Sometimes, I'm amazed by how perfectly matched they are for each other. Watching them together fills me with a belief in Cupid's 💘 magic.

When I woke up, I noticed the view from my window . The sun’s golden rays filtered through the window. As I lay in bed, my heart races with a mix of excitement and nervousness 😥. Today is the beginning of a new chapter, and I can’t help but feel a twinge of anxiety about what lies ahead.

We arrived at the college, a vibrant place filled with bright colors, varied textures, and interesting shapes. Each part, whether a photo, paper, or paint, contributed to a rich, detailed tapestry that caught the eye.The campus buzzed with life, students hurrying to classes, laughter echoing from the cafeteria, and the scent of fresh made coffee mingling with the aroma of different food 🥞.

"My father made a disappointed face and said, 'Jade, why do we always end up running late because of your sleep?' Yes, this is the exact word of my father."😠

You might assume it's because we miss the train or something of the sort. No, we caught the train on time, and even secure admission. But the hostel... well, that's a different story I didn't get the room because it's already full.

You tell me, does my sleep really have anything to do with it? We're totally innocent 🥺. Aren't we ?

Despite his frustration .l know he cares for me and that thought just makes me laugh.

Now we are searching for a rental room, and as you can imagine from my father's behavior, he didn't like a single one, even after seeing 15 different options. The sky shifts from bright blue to a muted orange as the sun begins to set 🌇 . It's nearly 7 o'clock in the evening, and I am exhausted. I don't want to take another step.

I sat on the doorstep of a house, my shoulders slumped in exhaustion.  I couldn't help but feel a mix of frustration and amusement at my father's relentless standards. With a pleading look in my eyes and a soft, almost childlike tone, I turned to my father. "Please, can we just book a hotel room for the night? I’m so tired, and we can continue searching tomorrow."

My father, his face have mixture of frustration and concern, stopped pacing. He glanced at me, then at the darkening sky  and said “Okay, I think it’s taking too long. We might not be able to go home tomorrow.”

With a sigh, he pulled out his phone and made a call. After a few moments, he looked at me and said, "We’re staying at my friend's daughter's house tonight. She lives just a few kilometers from here."

As we drove through the quiet, tree-lined streets toward the new location, the night settled around us 🌌. The city lights twinkle like distant stars, and the cool air through the open window brings a momentary sense of calm. Despite my discomfort about staying with strangers, I know I haven’t had much of a choice from the start. 😩
