She sat in silence as she looked down at the ground from the helicopter, It was loud but slightly peaceful. The mission was simple in and out, but it would take hours to get done Due to the weather changes and possible shoot outs. Time passed as she stayed silent, now and then she would look around at the others. They were all silent. (AUTHERS NOTE: OMG I NEED TO ADD MORE TO THE MIDDLE OF THE STORY LIKE, SHOW MORE OF ACE AND OTHER STUFF) Rue looked over to Ace who was making sure his equipment Was read, Rue nudged ace.
Rue: "Need help with that?" She smiled at him.
Ace: "Oh uhm.. I think I'm good, Do you need help with yours?"
Rue: "No I have everything ready for this, I don't expect this mission to be to dangerous even though I said it would be, I just brought the basics." She was trying to start up small talk.
Ace: "Are you sure? I understand you're the medic but you still need to make sure that you are ready for anything, and I mean anything."
Rue pulled on her vest to make sure it was tight, she was think about what Ace said 'Ready for anything, and I mean anything' His voice sent shivers down her spine as she kept checking her equipment. As she was checking her vest once again for safety measures, she left someone grab onto it and yank it down. She quickly looked over and say ace, she couldn't see his face, but she could hear his laugh.
Rue: "ohh so you want to play like that huh?!" She grabbed onto aces vest and pulled it as hard as she could almost making him fall over, The others caught onto this and started to laugh.
Mercy: "You two calm down we still have 1 more hour it get there!"
Rue: "How is it 1 more hour we are in a helicopter!"
Ace: "Not a fast helicopter." He laughed.
Rue: "I agree with ace." She chuckled.
They all laughed making the mood brighter. This one of the first time since Rue Joined the group. They all started talking more and making jokes. And when I say they were all laughing, They were ALL Laughing even Ace. It was A nice sight for Rue after what happened yesterday with Ace
William: "How about we all say some jokes? Sounds good?"
Rue" "Sounds perfect."
They had joked and laughed the rest of the way to the landing zoon. They where all so happy and all so unknowing for what has to come for them.
