Journey of Light and Courage

SS 1: Kaeya

(Author/Me: This is the first Side Story that I'm going to do that is going to be apart from the Main Story, I'm going to be adding this every so often so hope you enjoy.)

It's was a sunny day in Mondstadt, Klara, Lumine and Paimon were on there way to the HQ to check up on their fellow Knights. Paimon was getting curious on who would need help, Klara noticed this and said, " Ok Paimon, what are you curious about this time? " She crossed her arms and had a few things that she could probably guess what she is thinking about. Paimon stopped and said, " Uh? Oh~ nothing just wondering on which one would need our help today that's all " she said waving her arms while smiling, Klara smiled and raised a brow saying, " Are you sure that's not the only thing your thinking about? " Lumine couldn't help but giggle since the both of them knows Paimon well at this point.

Klara, Lumine and Paimon then walked in the Favonius Headquarters and Klara then noticed Kaeya leaning against the wall, but something wasn't right, " Hey, there's Kaeya " Lumine and Paimon then saw him and noticed the same thing, Lumine then whispered, " He looks nervous about something. " Klara agreed and they made their way towards him to hear him say " This is bad... Such a hassle... What am I going to do... ". Klara then puts her hand on Kaeya's shoulder and said " Is something wrong, Kaeya? " Kaeya looks up and saw Klara and her two companions said " Oh, thank the Thousand Winds! Travelers, your arrival must be the grace of the gods! " He said with relief in his voice, " If I may ask — envoy sent by the Anemo God to save this mere mortal — could you spare a moment? " Paimon crossed her arms and said  " Ewwww, cut it out! " Klara took her hands off Kaeya's shoulders and looked and Paimon knowing that she should be used to Kaeya's personality but it can't be helped.

Lumine looked and Kaeya and said " Can't say we don't have time... " Kaeya smiled and then said " Marvelous! " He then looked around and said " I cannot let my peers hear about this! I cannot seek help from anyone else but you three. " Klara was then getting curious on what he could need help with then again, he has always been mysterious that Klara couldn't read his emotions but could tell if he is telling the truth or just messing with her, sometimes anyway.

" Kaeya: Please, let us move to somewhere more fit for such conversations... Let's talk in the courtyard just outside the headquarters. Come with me. "

" Paimon: What's with the sneakiness... "

" Klara: (cross her arms) Paimon, You should know how he is at this point "

" Paimon: Fair Point... "

The Four of them then made it to the courtyard just outside the headquarters, Kaeya stops and turns towards the travelers and said " This place will do. ", Klara puts a hand on her hip and said " So, what's seems to be the problem " Kaeya looked at Klara then to the ground and said " How should I begin... Oh, right, let me tell you a secret first. It's a secret of my past, and I confide in you to keep it. " Klara puts a hand her heart and said " No need to worry, Your secret is safe with us. " Kaeya looks back at Klara and said thanks then continuous to talk about his grandfather was once a pirate, Klara then automatedly knew that he is messing with them and decides to play along since she knew that there is probably a reason behind this but Lumine and Paimon seems interested in this "Story" of his.

He then says that his grandfather left behind some notes and a magic sword that seems to be dropped from Celestia into the sea by a god, " A gang of Treasure Hoarders has been very active lately and many ruins have had their relics stolen by them. I'm afraid that they will soon discover the Arcadian Ruins and the magic sword will be lost... " Klara puts a hand on his shoulders and said " Rest assure Kaeya, That we will stop those Treasure Hoarders before they land a hand on your grandfathers sword " Paimon nods her head and said " Yeah! Know that Paimon and Lumine are here to help too! " Lumine puts a hand over her heart and follows with " Just leave it too us " and gave Kaeya a reassuring smile. Kaeya smiles back and puts his hand on Klara's and says " Wow~ Great! Thank you... All of you. Please keep it a secret. I'll wait for your good news! " He then takes his hand of Klara's and makes his way back to the HQ.
