JEMA

"Naka prepare na po lahat, Ms. Galanza" Sambit ni Ella

Tumango naman ako

"Update me later nalang, Balik muna ako" I said and smiled at her before walking away

"Mommy, ligo dagat mommy" Sambit ni Elijah

Kami lang ni Eli ang andito ngayon since may business trip si JV sa States

"Mommy, Go out mommy please" He begged

"We can't go out, anak. There's a construction on going outside. We have to stay here, okay?" Sambit ko

I gave him his ipad para hindi siya mabagot

Lumabas muna ako since it's already 5 pm

I sat on the recliner and pinapanood ang sunset

"Ma'am" Nagulat ako sa boses na nasa gilid ko

Pag lingon ko, It was ella

"W-what are you doing here?" tanong ko

"Nakita lang kita kanina mula dun. Just checking you out. Okay ka lang po ba ma'am?" Sagot niya

I looked away in an instant

"I'm fine, bumalik ka na sa trabaho mo Engr. De Jesus" sambit ko

"Mommy, lowbat" biglang lumabas si Elijah sa kwarto

Ella was just looking at him

"What are you looking at, Engr?" my brows furrowed

"Wala lang ma'am Galanza, He looked... Familiar" sagot niya

I gulped and inaasikaso si Elijah

"Are you hungry baby? Let's go inside na" sambit ko

"Maam" Ella called napa lingon naman ako sakanya

"I ordered food po for everyone. Pero di ko po nasali yung anak niyo po, pero don't worry naka order na po ako" sambit niya

"No thanks, engr. I can order food for my son" I replied

"Tatanggihan mo pa din ba kahit...Kahit dumating na yung order?" Sambit niya

I looked at her

"Engr! eto po yung separate food po for Ma'am Jema and his son" Hingal na sabi ni Engr. Dionisio

she smiled at him at kinuha yun

she ordered Engr. Dionisio na bumalik na sa site

"Hatid ko na po kayo, ma'am".sambit niya

And then an idea came into my mind

"How about... you eat dinner with us?" Sabi ko

Napa tingin naman siya sa akin

Nagka tinginan lang kaming dalawa

"Mommy, I'm hungry na po" I quickly looked away when I heard Elijah

"I-if okay lang po sa anak niyo m-maam" sagot niya

"engr. Ella Dj is going to eat dinner with us, Is it okay with you Eli?" I asked

Tumango tango naman siya

I looked at Ella and gave her a smile

"Let's go inside na, He's hungry" I said and nauna nang pumasok sa room

Pumasok na kami sa loob at tsaka kumain ng tahimik

Pansin kong sobrang bait ni Elijah kay Ella

Parang naramdaman ko din yung sudden closeness nila

Elijah looked so comfortable kay Ella

Pansin ko ding panay ngiti at tawa si Elijah

Eh pareho din silang sobrang babaw yung tawa nila

Kahit medyo corny, pero tumatawa pa din si Eli

My phone rang, Pag check ko my eyes widened kasi si JV tumatawag!

I gulped and looked at ella

Ella looked at me and stopped eating

"What's the matter?" She asked

I showed her the caller

"Just answer it, I won't mind" walang ganang sagot niya

I shrugged and answered the call

[hi bub!]
"Hi bub. How are you?"
[I'm fine, bub. kayo ni Elijah bub?]
"Elijah's doing great, the construction's doing well. Malinis ang process nila so far."
[that's good to hear. How about engr. De Jesus?]
"Why are you asking me about her?"
[I just want to know, baka mamaya, inagaw ka na niya sakin]
"Don't be like that bub, Hindi niya yun magagawa. And I'll never do that to you"
[Yan din yung sinabi ng tatay mo when you two talked]
I was shocked

So narinig niya lahat ng pinag usapan namin?

I looked at ella, and I saw her looking at me

I quickly ended the call

"you okay, ma'am Jema?" She asked

"y-yeah, I-I'm doing good" sambit ko

Tumango naman siya

"Tita Ella I'm done po!" Elijah said

Ella just smiled at her and sinabihan siya na mag hugas ng kamay

Nilapatan niya naman ako

"You can tell me, Jessica. You know I'm a good listener too" She said

Napa tingin naman ako sakanya

Nag titigan lang kami for a few seconds

"Tita ella, mommy, I'm done na po" Elijah said pag labas niya ng nath room

I quickly looked away and lumapit kay Eli

"Tara baby Half bath tayo. Uhm, Engr De Jesus, thank you pala ha?" Sambit ko

"Anytime, Jema. So, I should get going para ma asikaso mo si Eli" she replied

I gave her a nod

She smiled and waved her good byes at us bago tuluyang umalis ng kwarto

"Mommy, Tita ella is kind"Elijah said after siyang mabihisan

Napa ngiti naman ako

"Do you like her to be your tita?" I asked

Tumango naman siya

"Baby she is your tita already. What do you want pa sakanya?" I asked again

"dada" napa tigil naman ako

Eto na nga ba ang sinasabi ko

Too much closeness

Pag nalaman to ni JV, malalagot ako dito

"Baby, tita ella is enough okay? Your tita ella is not... your dada. Your daddy will get mad at you, gusto mo ba yun? daddy will be angry" sambit ko

"He's always angry at me mommy. Sometimes, he will spank me in the butt"sagot niya

I don't know what to feel

I never done that to Elijah

Hindi ganyan ang pag didisiplina ko sa bata

Nakita ko namang umiyak si Eli kaya niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit

"Mommy's here, anak. Don't worry, I'll tell your daddy about it okay? Everything's gonna be okay my love. As long as mommy's here" I softly said
