Never in her short, yet recently everlasting, sixteen years had Alyson seen a view as incredible as the hill behind the barn. Rolling hills cascading with vivid greens despite the nearing winter. It wouldn't remain this way for long. Heat still lingered as if it was the bridge between spring and summer, only without the bugs and pollen. Birds remained only for a few weeks longer.
