꧁☬ It's been a week since she hasn't seen Zeke. It was around 6:23AM. She, Theo and Ez were sitting at one of the big tables, eating their breakfast. Camilla walked up to them and sat down, eating judgy stares. «We need to talk.» She says to Evelynn, staring right through her. «Go on.» «Not here. It's something important.» Evelynn sighed. «Can we do it later? I haven't eaten anything since yesterday..» she mumbled, eating the cereal, which stood in front of her. ☬꧂

꧁☬ Camilla nodded. «Fine.» Ezrem looked up from his plate. «Ah, I forgot to mention, Zeke wanted me to deliver you this!» He grabs into his pocket and pulls out a folded paper. Evelynn nodded and took the letter. She opened and started reading quietly...☬꧂

꧁☬ His writing was very elegant, and was written in cursive. ☬꧂

Dear Evelynn,

I would like you to come to the tower at 8 PM, as we usually do. You may be curious as to why I'm reaching out in this kind of way, especially since I've been absent from class for some time. Nonetheless, please attend our training session. If I am not there, it means I am either unwell or in hiding. Should I be unable to train you, I will make sure to inform you properly.

꧁☬ It took her a few seconds to read the message, because even if he had an elegant handwriting, it was hard to read. Reading the letter, she somehow had a quickened pulse. She even know why, but reading the letter sent a wave of fresh blood through her cheeks. ☬꧂

꧁☬ «What did it say?» Theo asked. «Oh..uhm nothing..Whatever.» Something Zeke told her after their first training was, that she must hide the fact that they're training. Eve just looked at him confused back then, but agreed. Weird. Theo looked at Camilla then at Ez, both of them shrugging. Suddenly, the hall went quiet. The huge doors opened and Zeke, a pink haired girl and professor Jamahadi, a.k.a the principal, came in. Everyone stared at them. It wasn't unusual for everyone to look to the doors when someone came in, but it was unusual quiet. Evelynn immediately noticed the deep scar on Zeke's face. She couldn't hide a little smirk. But she was worried anyways. This scar wasn't there before. ☬꧂

꧁☬ «Good morning students!» He shouted. Camilla and Evelynn looked at each other, their faces saying both the same: how can he shout this loud? «I want all of you to meet Kali. She will be joining this school from now on. I want all of you to wish her a happy first day!» After that ‚speech', a few students knocked onto the table, before everyone minded their own business again. Zeke and ‚Kali' were talking for a bit more before they sat down at the same table where Theo and the other boys sat. «Zeke!» Theo said. «what's up man.» he replied. «Did you see Eymen? I thought he was with you.» Zeke shook his head. Evelynn looked at the pink haired girl, then back to Camilla. Her eyes widened for some reason. It made Eve raise her eyebrows, but she didn't think about it. ☬꧂

꧁☬ Camilla was basically staring hours at Kali. «Are... you..okay?..» She whispered. The last time she's seen Camilla look at someone like that was when she and Aaron were a pair. Which was in 3rd grade. Camilla just nodded. Eve shook her head. She'll be asking her about it later..She finished her cereal, which were sadly now brown milk with some slimy chocolate chips. She groaned and stood up. She brought the empty plate away and left the hall. She walked into the garden of chambers and sat down, leaning against one of the stone walls. They luckily didn't have any classes today. She didn't know why, but that's the only thing the teachers told them.☬꧂

꧁☬ After a while, someone walked up from behind. It was this pink haired girl. One of her eyes were blue, the other brown. «You're Evelynn Peshock right? Do I spell your name with one N or with two?» she asked, grinning at her. Eve looked a bit frustrated. «Uhm..with..two?..» She slightly mumbled while saying that. «Alright! I'll remember that! She sat down next to her. She a bit taller than Zeke, but Eve spotted they had the same eyeshape and other facial features. «Are you and Zeke siblings or something?...» Kalis eyes widened. «No! We're cousins!» She said, putting up that grin again. Evelynn really didn't like it. She didn't want to judge her yet, but that grin looked a bit faked. play along. She thought, smiling back.  ☬꧂
