About an hour later they pulled up to the flat. "Let's get these boxes up there," Tony mumbled. This is going to be a grueling task, Camille thought. They would have to carry all the boxes up 2 flights of stairs. They both sighed and started unloading the boxes. They grabbed a few then started toward the stairwell.
"Oh, please be careful. I dont want to take you to a hospital," Camille pleaded. It had already been a long night and sitting in a hospital waiting room wasn't on her list.
"I'll be careful," Tony said chuckling. "That also means you have to be careful too," he said teasingly.
"Psh, careful?" She scoffed. "I'm always careful," she said confidently. They laughed, clutching the boxes and climbing the stairs. They reached the door and knocked, waiting for Amy to answer it. There was no answer. Camille groaned and set her boxes down. "She must have went out to get something to eat," she mumbled, digging through her pockets to get the keys.
"You're damn right I did," Amy said, walking up the stairs holding a bag. "You were gone for like 3 hours. I hadn't eaten since the plane ride," she mumbled, a hint of irritation in her voice. Camille looked up from the door, her long hair was pulled back in a braid and she changed into decent clothes. She walked past Tony and Camille, putting her key in the lock and walked in, leaving the door wide open for them. "Oh, by the way, a few boxes came in. I put yours in your room," she said walking to the kitchen. Camille's stomach grumbled.
"Did you get me something?" Camille asked, pleading. Amy smiled, pulling a smaller bag out of the bigger bag.
"There was a McDonald's up the street," she said proudly. "Oh I didn't know what Tony liked, so I just got you some chicken nuggets," she said pulling a box out.
"Why didnt you call?" Tony asked, setting the boxes down in the, soon to be, livingroom. Amy narrowed her eyes.
"I did, like 5 times," she said, grabbing her food. Camille checked her phone. There were 6 missed calls and a few texts from her.
"Whoops," She mumbled, shoving her phone back into her pocket. Amy walked past them and down to her room.
"Remember, we have to go shopping tomorrow. That means no staying up late doing God knows what," she yelled before shutting her door. Camille turned to Tony, he was blushing slightly.
"C'mon, let's get this stuff to our room," she said, laughing. Our room, she thought, I like the sound of that. She grabbed a box and walked down the hall, Tony was close behind her. Once all the things were stacked up in the corner of the room they sat down to eat. After they got done eating they inflated the air mattress, and started to get ready for bed. "I almost forgot we were going to share a bed,"Camille said quietly. Tony laughed.
"Well, when we decided to share a room, what did you think the sleeping arrangements would be?" Tony asked in a teasing tone.
"Honestly, bunk beds. Or maybe two small beds," she said chuckling. "I don't really think things through I guess." She walked over to the side of the mattress and crawled in. Tony stood frozen at the side of the room. "Well are you going to stand there or will you come join me?" She asked flirtatiously. He started coughing, blushing furiously.
"Uh, yes. I'll just- I mean," he kept stumbling over his words. Camille couldnt help but laugh. He's such a dork sometimes, she thought, but he's my dork. He started picking up the trash left around the room, trying to avoid her eye contact.
"Man, what would happen if I slept naked?" She asked in a teasing tone. His face instantly became red. She started to laugh harder. "Would you just come to bed?" She pleaded. He just stared at her. She mouthed please, patting the empty part of the bed next to her.
"You would like that," he said, finally flirting back. A grin grew on his face. Camille smiled back.
"C'mon, I know you want to sleep with me," Camille toyed with him, wiggling her eyebrows. His grin grew impossibly wider. He finally gave in and crawled in bed next to her. She cuddled into him, taking in his scent.
"You're not going to sleep now are you?" He asked, concern in his voice. She chuckled.
"What's the matter? I though you would be dying to have me fall asleep with you?" She teased, draping her arm over his chest.
"Its not that, I mean, I would love for you to fall asleep next to me but I figured we could do other things," he said softly.
"Other things? Amy is in the room right next to us," she said, sitting up slightly. Tony turned red.
"No, not that," he said, slightly embarrassed. "I mean talk."
"Oh," she said, laying back down. "Alright, well, what do you want to talk about?" She asked.
"Um, I'm not sure," he said, quietly. He started to run his hands through her hair. "Any suggestions?"
"Mm, nope," she said. She snuggled into him, enjoying that he was playing with her hair. "Actually, what are we going to do for our first date?" He laughed.
"I guess it is weird that we've been dating for 3 years but haven't went of a single date," he spoke quietly. He kissed the top of her head, remaining silent. "What do you think?"
"Well I am still forgien to everything," she said teasing. "Why dont you come up with something?" She asked, looking up at him.
"Alright, but it'll be a surprise," he said playfully. Camille grinned.
"Sounds good to me, make me swoon," she said flirtatiously. They stayed quiet for a few minutes. Camille finally broke the silence. "We better go to sleep, we have an early day tomorrow," she sighed.
"What no goodnight kiss?" He teased. She smiled, reaching up and kissing him on the cheek.
"Night crumpet," she said softly. He kissed the top of her head again.
"Goodnight angel," he whispered. Within minutes they were both asleep in each others arms.
