Harmony grabbed an apple from the Sheriff's kitchen and took a bite out of it while leaning on the counter.

Sheriff jumped startled when he noticed a shadow in his kitchen, knowing he left Stiles upstairs in his room.

"Good evening, Sheriff."

Sheriff Stilinski calms himself down from a near heart attack moment,"You would think, I'll be used to it by now. Stiles is upstairs."

Harmony's smile widened by the second. He's one of the people she had great respect for. One of the few she genuinely appreciates."I know. But I'm here to talk to you."

Sheriff stared at her, suspiciously curious.

"Take a seat." She said."Have you reported me and Diane yet?"

"Do you want me to?"

"I'd prefer you didn't." Harmony said.

"This is called child negligence."

"I'm not a child. I'm sixteen capable of taking care of myself. a whole lot better than Diane or any foster home could." Harmony said,"You've known me almost my whole life. I've never....."

Sheriff raised his eyebrow.

"Rarely ever cause any trouble. To be fair most of the time, it's your son's doing. I'm not failing any of the classes. I eat, I sleep. No problem."

"Do you want to tell me why your report card has the same percentage."

"Coincidence."

"Some coincidence that is." Sheriff said sarcastically. Sheriff stares at her with concern.

Harmony noticed,"I can try to do better. Look, we have to find common ground without involving child services. 2 years until I'm home free. Just 2 years. I'm sixteen. No one will take me, and I'm most comfortable on my own."

"You shouldn't have to be on your own. You should have parents waiting for you at home. A family that loves and cares for you." Sheriff strongly opposes her.

"Why now? For the past 6 years, I had no one. Why now?"

"I should have done something sooner. But back then, your mother was back almost every fortnight. It was obvious when she left for a month or 2 at the time. I should have taken action than. I didn't."

"You didn't do anything. Cause you knew they would take me away. Away from Stiles. You knew he needed me when his mom died. But the truth is I needed him just as much as I need him now. If Stiles didn't save me that day, I would have lost it. He's the only thing grounding me... don't take that away from me. Please."

"You can stay with me until your mother returns. Then have a talk with her." Sheriff said.

"I like your son." Harmony blurted bluntly.

Sheriff stared at her for moment,"of course, you're friends."

"No, I have feelings for your son." Harmony said, clearing his confusion.

"Huh? Oh..." he said in realisation,"that's unexpected. Are you sure? You mean my son, Stiles?"

Harmony smirked as she nodded,"I know. Having two hormonal teenagers in one roof...will be disastrous."

Sheriff stared at her thoughtfully,"You're right. But my door is always open, and I'll check up on you once or twice a week."

"Sounds like a deal." Harmony smiled brightly,"Stiles is upstairs, right?"

"Yeah, go ahead.." Sheriff brushed his eyebrows,"wait."

Harmony peaked out from behind the wall.

"Does Stiles know?"
