Neither of the images are exact representations of them, you can use them to imagine what they look like or you can think of how they look on your own. I do that do when I'm reading stories.

To give you more info about the characters;
Luna is 13 1/2, Amber is 12.
Their mom was a witch, and their dad was a vampire.
Once at the school they are not allowed to leave school grounds for at least the entire school year, for fear of someone escaping and telling others about the monster world, and because there are hunters who are lurking just beyond the grounds waiting to k*ll them.
If you are expelled, you will be rid of your powers, your memory wiped, and sent back home like nothing ever happened so nothing can be leaked.
Powers of each monster, Witches: can cast spells, and make potions, Vampires: super speed, turning into a bat, immortality, (pretty obvious right, like in Twilight), Frankenstein: electricity, high level of resitance to pain, Wolf: super senses, shapeshifing, and agility, Abominable snowman (because I love her): protected from the cold (like Elsa), enhanced strength, Gorgon (because she gorgeous, get it?): petrification, snake communication, and Venus flytrap: stealthy when catching prey, pollen powers of persuasion.
