POV MITCH

As I walked into the school with Kirstie, she rambled on about something. I really don't know what she was saying, because I really wasn't listening. I just felt in the back of my mind that today was going to throw me off completely.

"Are you even listening?" I managed to hear through all of the fog in my ears, and turned my head towards the source of the noise; Kirstie.

"I-I'm sorry.. What did you say?" I stuttered as I snapped back into reality.
"I was saying that you have to pick me after school around 5-ish. It's storming, and I refuse to walk in the rain."

"I got it," I replied. "Well, I'll see you later, okay? I have the tag meeting." I waved goodbye and walked to the left once we got to the hallway, and turned my head to watch her walk to the right.

POV SCOTT

I woke up with the worst hangover in the world. I slowly got up, as I heard high-pitched singing coming from the kitchen.

"Be my- be my- be my- be my baby.." The voice sang.

"Ariana?" I questioned loudly, but quickly regret it when my ears started ringing.

"Scott?" she answered, copying my tone in her "cat/valentine" voice. "Get your a lazy ass down here I brought food."

"Go away." I said, falling backwards from my sitting position and into my pillow, allowing it to pop out around my head.

"I've made good pancakes, they're soft and buttery  just they way you like it!" She called out, still using her "cat/valentine" voice.

"That's what she said." I replied, with a smirk appearing on my face.

"Shut up. Come on, your mom wants you in there."

A sigh escaped my lips as I slowly made my way out of bed, slipping my pants on and heading to the kitchen.

"Scott, honey, we need to talk." my mom said while Ariana sat at the other end of the table, enjoying all of my pancakes. "Do you remember when you were 17, and you went on your first world tour?"

"Yea.. why?" I answered, not knowing where this was going.

"Well, see, when you left, you didn't finish a math assignment." She eyed me curiously, watching my reaction as she spoke with caution. "It made your grade do from a low C to an F."

"Mom, what are you saying?" I asked, my eyes widening at what i thought she was saying.

"You need to go back to high school math."
