Ryujin came down the stairs and went to the kitchen, she was in deep thought after the dream she had last night. Remembering the past in dreams is the worst thing, but strangely, some people in the dream were being nice. Anyway, it was just a dream.
"Did you sleep well, dear?" Ryujin's mother asked, and she placed the plates on the table. "I invited the Choi family to the dinner, it's been so long since we've seen them, hasn't it? Early this morning I went to their house, and the person who answered the door was Beomgyu, he is so handsome and tall, I think he's taller than your father.
Ryujin sighed and rolled her eyes when she heard her mother mention Beomgyu's name.
"Do you remember when you were kids, you both were always fighting like Tom and Jerry, how did it all start? Since you are older I hope you can be good friends..." She paused slightly and smiled. "Does Beomgyu have a girlfriend?"
Ryujin almost spat out her food. Why was her mother talking about that subject?
"Ew, mom..."
"For real, he is very handsome, he looks like he came out of that Japanese comic book, he is unreal, you need to see him."
" You know what? I really don't care..."

It was dinner time, Beomgyu didn't want to go to that stupid dinner at the Shin family's house, he could eat ramyeon at home while watching some silly videos online, but the boy's mother was insistent and said he was acting like a spoiled kid.
"You don't want to go because of their daughter?"
"What? I don't care about her..."
"So why are you not coming?"
"Because I don't really want, like c'mon. Can I stay here alone? I need some time for myself too...
Beomgyu's mother respected his decision, after all, he is already too grown up, and she can't force him to do something he doesn't want.
When his mother was about to leave the house Beomgyu noticed she was holding a pot with his favorite dish.
"Are you going to take all the jajamyeon?" He asked and his mother nodded. "Can't you leave some for me?"
"No. If you want, come with me, I made the right amount of food." Beomgyu's mother said, turning her back.
Beomgyu was in deep thought.
"Damn, wait for me... I'm going with you...

When they arrived at the Shin family's house, for some reason Beomgyu felt nervous about the Shin family's not-so-familiar new house. There were still some boxes on the living room floor. Ryujin's cat passed between his legs.
" This kitten... lazy as always, but now you're too old, huh?"
"I'm glad you came, Beomgyu..." Mrs. Shin said. "I'll call Ryujin...
