"Bichhad gaya har saathi de kar
Pal do pal ka saath
Kisko fursat hai jo thaame
Deewanon ka haath".
"Amul stop please" I ran behind her trying to catch her. "You can't catch me Ansh" she said sticking her tongue out at me. Her laughter echoed through the hills while I stopped running gasping for breath.
"Kya hua Ansh? Itni jaldi haar maan gaye!" She said mocking me. "Tumhaare ageh mein ek baar toh kya, hazaar baar haar manne ke liye taiyaar hoon." I replied looking at her moon like face which turned red due to the chilly winds blowing around us.
"This is not fair. You always make me speechless." She stomped her feet in the snow complaining. I laughed loudly pinching her tomato red cheeks. "That's because I am older than you."
My reply angered her even more "huh I am going. I don't want to see the sunrise with you anymore."
"Hey stop stop, ok I am sorry please don't go" I held her wrist stopping her. "Then stop making me angry." "Accha I am sorry, please maff kardo ab" I said holding my ears.
"Ek shart hai" her lips curved into a small smile. "Promise me, that we will always stay like this." She said slowly showing her pinky finger. I linked my pinky finger with her, "yeh bhi koi puchne ki baat hai? You are my bestfriend and we will always stay together no matter what. Forever and Always."
"Yes, forever and always." It seemed that the time stopped and everything around us stilled. It felt like we were inside a bubble and everything outside it didn't matter. It's always been like this with her. When she is near me, everything else dissappear. With her innocent smile and silly questions, she makes it impossible for me think about anything other than her.
She is priceless. She is Amulya.
The loud chirping of the birds broke our moment. A loud gasp left her mouth. I followed her gaze and the sight made me smile wider. The golden rays of dawn cascading over the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange. We were lost in the beauty of the moment and living the moment together made it more beautiful. We kept looking at the rising sun, basking in it's warmth. I gazed back at her hazel eyes, which were shining so brightly. Her eyes carried the same warmth which fills my heart everytime she looks at me. She is the sun for me.
