Seyran takes her crying son in her arms. She feels her motherly heart hammering painfully against her chest with each demanding scream of her baby who wants nothing but the comfort of his mother.
Although Seyran should have been accustomed to this little human's untimely outbursts and random needs but probably five months are not enough for her to accept it all.
To excel it all.Five months and Seyran's life has taken to an eventful toll; yes, eventful she likes to call it because there is neither all rainbows and sunshines nor grey clouds and storms about motherhood.
But she had hoped optimistic;just like all of us.
He will only strengthened the love between you two,
Was all they had said and that was all Seyran had thought too.
Neither Seyran had judged her convictions nor anyone had warned her that sometimes that is not enough.
That not everytime and for everyone, this notion holds true. That there always exists exceptions.
But Seyran had not brought this life on earth to fix something. For nothing was broken in the first place.
Everything was perfect;too perfect to be true.Almost like a happy dream flowing into eternity and the child would only add to it. That's what she had thought.
Ferit's only dream.
Seyran's dream.
Their dreams together. But hopes are meant to be crushed.
Every dream comes to a halt when the reality of harsh sunlight hits your eyes.Same happened with her, with them.
A child was meant to bring them together not further apart;too harsh to be real. But then again reality has always been harsh.
She sighs heavily when she finds the little human lost in slumber, two more times she expects him to warry her, one around one in the night and second at three in the morning.
As she puts her prince down on her bed, she secures him by building a fortress of pillows around. It is then, there is a sound of doorknob turning.
An exhausted Ferit has no energy left to even spare a glance at his world right in front his eyes standing by the bed,in his bedroom.
Three months are probably not enough for him to get used to his earlier workaholic self that he had taken a break from for two months uninterrupted. The initial two months when one corner of his heart that was entirely owned by Seyran came to life, his son,he wanted to spend each second with him. But responsibilities overpowered his insanity and atlast he reluctantly had to go back but that did not mean that his love for his son dawdled, on the contrary,it increased tenfolds.
The absence makes him grow impatient to complete everything at the earliest and run back to his lifelines, his wife and their living unison.
But things are not going well.
Not as he had expected.
What he had expected is a smiling Seyran and his son waiting together for him to run into his arms.
To welcome him home.
Apparently it doesn't happen.
Seyran is back to herself.Seyran he knew when they got married for the first time.
Seyran he knew when when they got married for the second time.
Seyran he knew all his life but still hoped to see changes. She did the same after all.
All this time, she expected Ferit to change according to her wishes.
How can Ferit not expect the same from Seyran?
But Ferit did change.
Seyran did change-for a fleeting moment, let's say.
Ferit is changed and works everyday to change in better ways.
But sometimes you need an incentive, a hope to hold onto.
The hope that is no longer provided by Seyran.Seyran who does not understand happiness.
Seyran who only wants happiness but life is not allowing her that privilege.
Or perhaps it's just her own emotions.
She doesn't want to be happy,Ferit believes it.
