Zeynep was shocked by what she just heard. What did he mean by "I'm tired of waiting for you to love me" she thought to herself. Of course she loved him, she was sure of that, and to be honest, this was the only certainty in her life.
She decided to clarify things, she couldn't let him go like that.
"Barış wait!" She stopped him by his bedroom's door. "What is that supposed to mean Barış?" She crossed her arms, looked at him demanding clarification.
He stared at her and placed two fingers on his chin. His gaze was cold, and he was resentful, she could almost feel it in her body. "Zeynep, when I proposed you, when I asked you to marry me, you accepted, right?", she nodded. "But did you ever consider me as your husband-to-be, as your fiancé?", she frowned her eyes, confusion running over her face. "How can you not trust me? How can you reject me like that? I feel like I'm not good enough for you!" He took her hand, caressing her ring. "Okay, you felt grateful towards me, but I feel like you only felt that for me, nothing more", he looked at her, straight in her eyes.
Even though he tried to not display any emotions on his face, she could read in his eyes how hurt, wounded, sad he was. "How can you think that Barış?" Her voice was breaking between words.
He kissed her ring, "Zeynep, please, don't pity me, I don't want your pity, but your love". He let out her hand, falling by her side, and he headed to the bathroom, closing the door behind him.
She sat on the floor by his bedroom's door, with teary eyes. But she didn't want to cry, so she quickly wiped those tears. She needed to focus on Barış, on what has been going on his head all this time. She thought about the recent events.
"I've been unfair to him" she said to herself. She thought about how she acted towards him, and realized how hard it must have been for him. Of course, she was going through a hard time, but it wasn't his fault. He only tried to help her, but she almost saw him as an enemy, and turned her back to him. How much she had hurt him, she hated herself for that. He was right to doubt of her feelings, she gave him almost any reasons to do so, since the beginning of their relationship. But she knew what treasure he was, how important he was for her.
She then thought about her conversation with Ozlem. She didn't want to give her reason, she wanted to prove her wrong. She wanted to fight for him, and to show him how important he was to her.
Looking at him, she wasn't sure if he would still accept her, but she will do anything to make him forgive her. He was the love of her life, he needed to know it.
She heard the lock of the bathroom turn, and she stood up, gathering herself to have this ultimate discussion with him. Even if he didn't want to hear her, she would still express her love for him, in any way.
"Are you hungry? I'm going to make us sandwiches" she was taken aback by what he just said. How can he think about eating now? And then she remembered, when they just got acquainted, how he always proposed to eat. She let out a little smile "Tamam".
In the kitchen, she was absorbed by his gestures. Not that it was the first time she saw him cooking or some kind, but this time it felt different. Maybe because he was her boyfriend now, she wasn't shy to overthink about any actions he did. Today, he somehow looked atrociously sexy, the way he grabbed the knife sent shivers in her body, she inclined her head to have a better perspective of the beautiful spectacle in front of her.
She shook her head to get back to her senses, it wasn't the right time, yet. She first needed to clarify the situation. She approached closer to him, placed a hand on his shoulder to get his attention.
"Barış, listen!" He turned and faced her. "I'm very sorry I made you feel this way. I recognize that I acted unfairly towards you, and you didn't deserve it." He wanted to react but she placed a finger on his mouth to stop him "No listen, I recognize that I had some issues, and I needed some help to solve them! I selfishly think that I was able to do that by myself but I was wrong, and then again, it's thanks to you, because you insisted despite everything, thank you so much". She paused, took his hands in hers and squeezed them, exposed a lovingly smile, "I want you to know that I love you. I love you so much Barış, with all my heart, with all my soul, with my entire body. You are the best thing that happened in my life, I realized that life sent you to me to make me smile. I get to know true love because of you, you were right, before I mistook what I think of love, as comfort, a home I was looking for. I found my home in myself, and I found myself in you. My little prince, I love you so much" she finished her monologue, standing on her tiptoes, she placed her lips on his and kissed him softly. "You are my happiness and peace, Barış".
By these words, Barış simply let out the most beautiful smile ever, and he lowered his head to meet her soft lips again. She let out his hands, and placed hers behind his neck, opened her mouth to meet his tongue and deepen the kiss. He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulled her closer to his body. He finally release their kiss "I love you Zeynep" he whispered close to her lips, mixing their breathing together. She didn't wait and locked their lips again, repeating the same steps. His hand, behind her back, went back and forth, while she raised her hand to his hair, playing with his curls.
She pulled this time. "Now can we eat these sandwiches?" She murmured, almost out of breath because of the long kisses. He smiled "As you want my rose".
He finished the plates, and she followed him, standing voluntarily behind his back, to appreciate his figure. She smiled naughtily "I am so lucky to have the most handsome man only for me". He turned to her, surprised by her statement, before she added "And the incredibly sexiest of course" she finished leaving him standing, amused by the boldness of her words.
They sat on the couch, ate and drank while exchanging some jokes. Actually, it was Barış who shared his very bad jokes, that Zeynep loved more than anything. She smiled lovingly to him, secretly thanking God for him.
"My love" he started, after putting down his glass, picking the delicate silk material of her shirt. "I want us to be happy, to leave everything behind and to enjoy our days to come", he planted a soft kiss on her lips.
It was as if she heard the angels singing the most beautiful song, she responded to his kiss by shifting closer, so close that their bodies were millimeters apart. "That is all I can wish for Barış", she started the kiss this time, and she felt him smiling against her lips.
She wrapped her hands behind his neck, intensifying the kiss. She felt more demanding, he parted his lips, their tongues met in the most dancing way. He wrapped her waist with one hand, the other playing with her hair. Slowly, his lips left her, and started exploring her jawline, down to her neckline, and finally installed on the crook of her neck to provide moments of delight. His warm kisses sent electricity inside her, and she moaned in enjoyment. Her eyes closed, she arched her neck to let him explore more, allocating him more power.
Still in the enjoyment of the magic he was exercising between her neck and her shoulder, her fingers found the way to the neckline of his shirt, slowly parting it to have access to his chest. She appreciated the peeking at his tiny ginger curls, and moaned a bit louder when his lips went up to find her earlobe. "Barış" she alarmed, pressing her nails into his skin. He stepped back to look at her, and found something wonderfully delicious in her eyes: passion, excitement, impatience. "Yes my love?", he wanted her approval before going further. "I want you, now!" She ordered, and he smiled at the tone of her voice.
That night, they make love as if their souls depended on this. Barış covered Zeynep's body with kisses, and she repeated the same. They were tender, they were loving, they found a new connection of each other. They connected emotionally, physically, spiritually and sexually.
"Seni seviyorum, Zeynep" Barış whispered in her ears.
"Seni çok seviyorum Barış", Zeynep responded in his arms.
