Bumblebee was staring out at the raising sun. His mind in array. One of his friends from the war spotted him. "Everything okay, Bee?" Bulkhead called out. Bumblebee didn't respond. "Bee?" Bulkhead walked in front of Bumblebee. He didn't move. "Bee? Heeeelloooo?" Bulkhead waved his hand in Bumblebee's face. Nothing happened. "Bee, this isn't funny!" Bulkhead started to shake his comrade. He shook him harder and harder ... but nothing happened. "BUMBLEBEE!" Bulkhead cried. No response. Ceasing the shaking his friend, he swiped Bumblebee off his legs and over his shoulder.

He ran hard until he was at their base. Smokescreen spotted Bulkhead's entering. "Bulkhead?" he began. "What's going on? Why is Bumblebee on your shoulder?" Bulkhead pulled Bumblebee down and Smokescreen and Bulkhead saw Bumblebee's eyes were flickering. "MEDIC!" Smokescreen cried.

"They weren't flickering before," Bulkhead said in a small voice.

"BUMBLEBEE NEEDS A MEDIC!" Two medics rushed in and took Bumblebee to the med bay. They set him down on an open berth and start scanning him. His purple eye and azure eye were flashing at different times. They hocked him up to life support. For his spark was starting to beat in array.

Smokescreen and Bulkhead called everyone they knew that Bumblebee was close to. Optimus was the first one they told. He bolted off to base and he is the first to arrive. "How did this happen?!" Optimus demanded.

"I ... I don't know. I just found him and-" Bulkhead stopped when Optimus walked pass them. He looked over the medics and could see his adopted son's eyes flashing.

"Bumblebee," Optimus said in a quiet voice and sadness. "Please be okay." Then ... the spark monitors started going off. "BUMBLEBEE!" As the medics rushed to open his chest to squeeze his spark to get it starting again. But his spark went flat. And the entire universe seemed to stop to Optimus. He didn't even notice him being led to a chair. He didn't even hear anything. Just one sentence he could hear in his mind: "BUMBLEBEE IS GONE!" It echoed louder each time and for the first time since Elita-1's death ... he cries.
