The salty breeze kissed my cheeks as I sat on the weathered bench overlooking the pier. The seagulls circled above, their cries echoing the tumultuous emotions swirling within me.

Beside me laid a crumbled piece of paper. I unfolded the paper, its edges worn and frayed from all the times I've read it over and over again, and read the words that had once been penned with love:

"Dear Y/N,

As I sit down to write this letter, my heart fills with warmth and affection for you. Every moment spent with you feels like a precious gift, and I find myself falling deeper in love with you with each passing day.

Your smile brightens even the darkest of days, and your laughter is music to my ears. I cherish the way you understand me without the need for words, how you hold my hand and make me feel like I'm home.

In your presence, I feel truly alive, as if the world fades away and it's just you and me, wrapped in our own little bubble of love. You are my rock, my confidant, and my greatest supporter.

I am grateful for every moment we share, but I know we won't be good for each other.
With all my love,

Sharky."

Tears welled my eyes as I crumbled the piece of paper in my hands. Beside me a gentle lapping of the waves provided a soothing rhythm to the turmoil within. The wind blew the paper out of my grip and it fell quietly onto the sand.

"Y/N?"

I turned to see Sharky standing before me, his eyes searching mine with a mixture of sadness and longing.

"I found this," he said, holding out the crumbled letter.

I gazed from his eyes to the letter, wiping away my freshly cried tears.

"I... I didn't know what to say," Sharky began, his voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't mean for things to end like this."

Tears welled in my eyes once again, as I listened to his words, the pain of our parting resurfacing with each syllable spoken.

He sat down beside me in a sigh as he continued, his voice thick with emotion, "I never wanted to hurt you. I just... I didn't know how to express what I was feeling."

For a moment we sat in silence, the weight of unspoken words hanging heavy in the air. But as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow upon the water, I felt a glimmer of hope stirring within me as I finally whispered, my voice barely audible above the gentle lapping of the waves, "I understand. And I forgive you."

With those words, a sense of peace washed over me, filling the empty spaces left by our shattered love. And as Sharky softly reached out to take my hand, I knew our journey together had come to a new beginning.

So. First imagine for this book, how are we all feeling about it???
