I don't exist

Unwanted;
Unneeded;
Unimportant.
A life neatly summed up
In three simple words.

Pushed to the sidelines,
hands trembling,
wondering if I screamed
so loud that I tore my throat opened,
would anyone notice

You don't see me.
No one ever does.
An afterthought, at most.

I learn to live
among the shadows. They
are my friends,
the darkness that stretches
and bends, hiding secrets
from the light.
Secrets, are my currency
I never use and
shadows are friends that
never speak.
