Vox was delighted

"Alastor?!" He cried out.

He had a drone recording the entire fight at the hotel. The drone had shown someone he didn't expect to see. Alastor, his ex.

Well, Alastor said they were over but Vox never agreed to end it.

This was all seven years ago. Their relationship, their break up, and Vox's desperate attempt at tying Alastor to him. Permanently.

Alastor was just being dramatic when he tried to end things. Sure, he may have had a few hookups with Val but was that really enough to end their decades long relationship? Vox has his own needs and Alastor was just not satisfying them. This, of course, led him to seek satisfaction in other people.

He still loved Alastor.

Alastor didn't mean it when he said that he no longer loved Vox.

Vox concluded that Alastor needed time spent with Vox in order to come to his senses but Alastor was stubborn.

So, Vox found a spell that would turn Alastor into a cat and would leave him in a state where he had to rely on Vox as the spell also sealed up a majority of his powers. He thought he would only have to maintain the spell for a year.

The plan would have worked if Alastor hadn't kept trying to escape.

Since he wasn't coming to his senses, Vox kept him locked up in his tower and when the spell showed signs of unraveling, he would renew it if Alastor kept trying to escape. He knew the spell was unraveling when Alastor started sleeping more than usual.

Around the end of the spell's life, it used the energy of the one who had been transformed and used that to turn them back into their original form. It took a lot of energy so that led to Alastor sleeping for around two weeks. This was also convenient for Vox because Alastor became more compliant around this time which made renewing the spell easier.

While his lover was stuck as a cat, Vox continued to go to Val whenever he was feeling in the mood. On those days, Alastor completely ignored him and went as far as to attack him.

One day, Alastor had completely disappeared. This sent Vox into a rage as he desperately searched for him for months with no luck.

Now, right on the screen, was his Alastor. He did worry when Alastor got him by Adam but he knew Alastor wasn't dead.

He did have to find out how he was going to get Alastor out of there and back where he belongs in Vox's home.

* * * *

Alastor hated it but he was used to his current form.

Vox, that fucking bastard, refused to accept their break up. He absolutely meant it when he said that he didn't love him anymore.

All love is lost the second you seek the comfort of another. In that second, you are no longer a being worth his love.

Especially when that other person is Valentino. The fucking bastard.

So Alastor tried to leave but Vox tricked him and turned him into a cat. He took all the pleasure he could get out of destroying the guy's house and face.

He managed to escape one day but since he still had a few of his powers, he didn't forget to do a final 'fuck you' before leaving.

He set Vox's house on fire.

He just started messing with the wires on any electronics he could find before he went to every room and spread gasoline Vox was planning to use on some random competitor of his. Lighting the fire and watching it spread was fun.
