Andrew Returns Home

"Tell me Nicholas, is he really coming back today?" Sarah asked
   Nicholas who looked much calmer than usual answered
" If you really want to know the answer you might as well follow me "
  Sarah and her mom worked as housekeepers for the Martins family.
They had worked there for over 14 years and we're taken as part of the family.The Martins only child Andrew was sent abroad to study and was rumored to be returning home that very day. The news spread out like wild fire and finally got into Sarah's ears.

"Hurry up Sarah we do not have much time to waste" Nicholas called out to Sarah
"Oh I'm sorry, I had to tell my mom I was leaving" Sarah explained
The drive took them at most 25 minutes and they finally reached the airport. Nicholas and Sarah got down from the car and strolled to where the plane was going to land.
   When all planes landed successfully, a handsome looking young guy in his early twenties strode down with his Bottega glasses covering his eyes.
Sarah who was lost in awe couldn't take her eyes off the young man.
The young man walked towards them with elegant steps and smiled widely at Nicholas.
" It's good to see you Nicholas" the young man known as Andrew said
Nicholas who bowed slightly responded
" I'm glad to have you back young master ,I see you haven't changed much"
Sarah patiently waited for her best friend to acknowledge her presence but reverse was the case.
Andrew looked at his best friend and decided to play a little game on her
" And who is this you brought here, is she a new worker here?" Andrew asked and Sarah's face dropped by a hundred degrees
" Do you not really remember her" Nicholas asked quite surprised
" I'm sorry but I dont know her ,can we now go home I really miss my home" Andrew said  stealing glances at Sarah whose mind wasn't with them
While in the car Sarah was quiet and didn't say a word till they got back home. She helped carry Andrews luggages Into the house and rushed off to the garden to cool off.
  While she was thinking about how her best friend who was gone for six years easily forgot her and unknown anger surged up in her heart and she felt like crying instantly. All her hopes of reuniting with her best friend was shattered as the person she waited for and silently prayed for to return does not remember her at all.
   "Sarah" a voice called out warmly
" Yes, what do you need" Sarah answered turning around to see who called her and behold it was her best friend
  " You still remember my name" Sarah said almost in tears
" Of course I do, I missed you a lot Sarah" Andrew said with a wise smile
" No you didn't" Sarah chimed in
" Why say so" Andrew asked
     Sarah who looked upset said " if you missed me you would have called me to hear from me "
" Oh! My bad well I'm sorry for not caring but now I'm back and we can now catch up on the six years we were apart " Andrew said
" Fine" Sarah said smiling
  " You know,I'll be having a welcome back party with my friends and I want you to come " Andrew invited
" No I don't belong in your clique of friends, I'll just stay here and work a bit " Sarah politely declined
Andrew who had a disappointed look on his face said" I thought we wanted to do some catching up but since..."
"Wait! I'll come for the party". Sarah sharply cut in
That night Sarah scatter her wardrobe to find something elegantly but low key to put on and ended up picking out a black skin fit gown with a silver heel.    
   When she arrived,the party had already started and no one noticed her entering the loud Hall filled with different category of rich people and she a low class in the middle
Just then Andrew walked up to Sarah with a glass of whiskey in his hands and looked at her face. Her makeup wasn't heavy but it still brought out her beautiful face and made her rosy lips stand out more .
He took her hand and pulled her towards his friends direction.
" Hey guys this is my one in a million best friend Sarah" Andrew enthusiastically introduced
Faced with the gazes of the rich people Sarah's confidence dropped by a hundred and she timidily greeted them
" The blonde doesn't look rich to me " A girl among the group of friends said mockingly
  Sarah who heard the mockery in her words ran out of thier presence to the garden and silently shed tears. She blamed herself for agreeing to go to the party. The moonlight shun brighter than before that night and Sarah's night was a disaster. She pulled herself up and tried walking to her room when    her eyes landed on a disheartening scene Andrew and the girl who mocked her were having a hot make out session. Tears welled up in Sarah's eyes as she blindly ran out of the garden and bumped into a stranger at the entrance of the garden ,losing staminate she fell face flat to the floor.
The stranger helped her up and helped clean her muddy dress, Sarah who thanked the stranger took a glance  at the strangers face and saw that he was also very cute and alluring like Andrew. After getting her dress partially clean sho rushed off to her room with giving the stranger an opportunity to ask for her name . When she got into her room she began to cry a river and her mind keot playing back the scene she saw in the garden until sleep slowly invaded her eyes and she slept off
