No One's POV:

Rain poured down like never before in Columbus, Ohio. Lightning littered the sky with thunder clacking loudly.

A crow caws loudly as it lands on top of a wooden cross that has a name on it. Beau Evenson. Dirt moves as a pale hand breaks free from the earth's soil. Soon another hand pops out and grasps onto the surface as the person it belongs to crawls out of the grave.

The woman gasps out for air as she turns on her back to look up towards the thundering sky. The rain washes away the mud off of her face as she grasps her head and screams out in discomfort.

Cawing caught her attention and she turns her head finding a big crow staring at her. She tilts her head a bit and it caws before taking off.

The woman groans in discomfort as she struggles to her feet. She begins following the bird as it takes her through a few alleyways.

It flies towards a run down house that's boarded up. The crow flies through a small opening and the woman squeezes through, ripping her clothes in the process.

She rights herself and wraps her arms around herself as she takes a few timid steps through the living room. She flinches as two rats scurry across the floor.

Her doe eyes scan her surroundings and takes in the scene. All the furniture is flipped upside down or broken with papers littering the floor. There's small holes in the walls.

Cawing made her turn her head finding the crow next to a picture frame. Sluggishly she heads over and reaches out, grabbing the frame then gasped in pain.

A small boy curly haired boy runs up to her excitedly. "Sissy, sissy! I have a present for you!" He exclaims happily and jumps into her arms.

She laughs softly and twirled him around getting a giggle from the boy. "What is it, Benji?" She softly asks with a small laugh as she set him on her hip.

"Put me down, Beau, please. It's in my bag," he tells her and she set him down, watching as he rummages through his little satchel.

He makes a triumphant noise and pulls out a picture frame then gave it to her. Beau gently takes it and turned around so it's facing her right.

It's a picture of the two of them together for the family picnic in school. She smiles lovingly at the photo and faced Benji. "It's beautiful, Benjamin. I love it. We're gonna put it up as soon as we get home. Sounds good?" She tells him and kneels down to plant a soft kiss on his forehead.

He blushes and nods. "Can I help you, Beau? I'm a good helper. Mrs. Sanchez says so," he excitedly states puffing out his chest making her laugh softly and nod.

Beau shakes her head and drops the frame on the ground. "Benjamin," she whimpers out as she holds her head in pain and falls to her knees.

The door to their home slams open and Beau jumps in surprise. "Beau!" Benjamin screams out in fear as a few nazi soldiers come rushing in.

They began ransacking the whole house while Beau clutches Benjamin to her chest as he cries. One soldier aims his gun at their heads.

"Wo sind die Truppen? Wo versteckst du sie?" He demands making Beau shake her head quickly while tightening her hold on her baby brother who's crying.

"I-I don't understand," she stutters out while backing away. A soldier flips their dinner table over making Beau flinch violently.

"Americans!? Where da American soldiers?!" He yells out angrily and again Beau shakes her head.
