born on July 17th, 1868 in Castelfranco Veneto, Italy. Leonardo (he prefers to be called Leo) Russo is a 26 year old cambion (a demon-human hybrid) who works exclusively as a hitman. all together, he is a competent shapeshifter and very skilled fighter. but he has no sense of precognition like other demons do or an eye for social cues, making him extremely easy to be caught off guard.
he doesn't remember his childhood much, he says it's a blur whenever somebody asks him about it. but he does remember as a child he was left alone most of the time, ignored by his family, which contributes to his quiet, reclusive nature. because he is a shapeshifter, he has an unstable sense of self, and often doesn't really know if his physical body is actually his body, causing him to have depersonalization episodes almost every day. he is quite detached from his emotions and doesn't know how to express them properly, so he represses them almost completely, and is usually seen with an empty, unreadable expression (this could be a psychological problem in the form of a disorder, but he doesn't really know or care).
he distances himself from his actions as much as he can whenever he does his work, doing things like wearing a mask when he kills and using almost only a gun, so he has sort of a cognitive dissonance when it comes to his job. he doesn't remember most of the things he does during a mission, and he's known to just space out often. he has manners to the point of coming off as unsettling, and he has a strange talent of almost reading somebody's thoughts, although that cannot be said for others when it comes to him. he's uninterested in romance and says it's nothing but a waste, and nothing will really come out of it in the end, so he's just given up before even trying. he's also mostly alone, unless when he's seen with Marie (her lore is in a different chapter).
he does have a hobby for cooking. and unlike pure-blooded demons, he despises the taste of human flesh, but unlike humans, he likes human blood. meaning he win't just straight up cannibalize humans, but he will take some blood out from them. he also has a pet cat named Oscar, who he treats as his child basically.
he is nice when you get to know him. he's incredibly awkward, and doesn't fare well in social situations. he can't dance either, but he's smart and has a vast knowledge in physics.
TLDR: Leo is a socially awkward and antisocial person but a skilled shapeshifter and hitman, who loves his cat and cooking.
