[ Kunj is taking Abhimaan's temperature again. Fever had reduced during the day because of the medication but it had spiked up again during dinner hour's ]
K - 102 still high
M - does that mean I can't go to school tomorrow?
K- hmm

[ Agastya who had just changed into his night clothes came out of the bathroom]
Ag - Do we have a blood testing kit at home?
[ both Kunj and Abhimaan looked at him, why did the boy want a blood test kit now , out of the blue? ]
Ag - it's high time now I want a DNA test, yeh toh Mera bhai hone se raha! Mera Bichara eklota bhai Pata nahi kaha hoga
[ He was cut off by a pillow in his face]
Ag - oi mara kyun?
[ Abhimaan just picked up one more pillow and threw it towards Agastya]
Ag - Teri toh
[ Agastya picked up the pillows and threw them at Abhimaan one after the other. Kunj stopped Abhimaan before those two can start a full fledged pillow fight ]
K - stop it
Ag - usne start Kiya
[ Kunj ignored Agastya while Abhimaan just rolled his eyes ]
K - Maan your temperature is still very high, you will need one more injection bachha
M - nahi na Papa please subha wala abhi bhi dard Kar raha hai, ek aur nahi
Ag - dekha yeh toh Mera bhai ho hi nahi sakta, doctor ka beta hoke injection se darta hai
[ Abhimaan glared at Agastya but as if it would have any effect on him ]
Kunj ( stern ) - Agastya
K - Maan your still running a 102 fever, shot is important.
M - papa please na, dard hoga
K - jyada nahi hoga subha heavy dose diya tha isliye itna dard hua, abhi nahi hoga pakka
[ Abhimaan slightly nodded his head in yes and Kunj went to get the medicine. ]
[ Kunj was back within minutes. Agastya was sitting beside Abhimaan on the bed and both were talking about something random. ( basically Agastya was trying to get Abhimaan's mind off of injection. Such a good brother he is 🥰 ]
K - Maan turn around

[ Abhimaan wanted it to get over as soon as possible so he just accepted his fate and was about to turn when Agastya laid down on bed beside him and opened his hands for hug. Sometimes when Twinkle is not their Agastya hugs Abhimaan while he is getting injection. ]
[ Abhimaan hugs Agastya ]
M - Mai tujhase 7 min. bada hu
Ag - voh toh meri mehrbani thi Maine tujhe pehle Jane diya
[ Abhimaan just shot him a disgusted look but stiffened when Kunj lowered his pants a little just enough for him to inject ]
K - relax Maan I promise it won't hurt. Take a deep breath
[ Kunj inserted the needle at 90° and Abhimaan flinched at the sharp prick ]
M - Sssss......... Ahh............aa....aa
Ag - hogaya count till 5 it will be over 1....2.....
M - Ahhhhh........Papa
K - hogaya shhh..... [ Kunj removed the needle and pressed a alcohol pad over the spot and rubbed the area gently]
Ag - dekha ho bhi gaya, aise hi dar raha tha
[ Abhimaan turned and laid flat on his back but hissed slightly. ]
M - Ouch !!
K - sleep, the pain will go away after sometime
[ Kunj turned off the lights drew the comforter over Abhimaan and left the room. ]
[ Kunj entered his bedroom only to find his wife talking with her secretary about something ]
T - yeah alright send me the copies by tomorrow morning, I will take a look at them. OK bye, good night
T (to kunj) - bache so gaye?
K - hmm
T - aur Maan dinner ke wakt uska badan firse garam lag raha tha
K - firse bukhar Chad gaya tha, abhi injection diya hai maine subha tak thik hojayega.
T - ek aur injection! Mai dekh ke ati hu
K - Twinkle thik hai woh, dono so gaye hai, Maan bhi dawai ki wajha se
T - fir bhi
[ Twinkle goes to check on the boys, places a quick kiss on their head and covers Agastya properly by the comforter and exits the room]
[ Twinkle and Kunj's room ]
K - hogayi tasali pad gai dil ko thandak
T - Kunj !!
K - Maine 10 Saal toh aise hi kanche khele hai, jab main itna Bata raha hu " bache so gaye hai" fir bhi dekh ke aana hai
T - ha toh Maa hu aur Sabki Maa aise hi hoti hai. Sojao ab , Good night
K - Good night 😴
AUTHOR: That's it for now, next chapter next week All the medical scenes are imaginary I haven't referred any proper information for these scenes so read accordingly. The first 5-6 chapters will be more like just a sickfic oneshots kind of thing as I haven't thought of a plot and my 12th grade started just a week ago so it's been kind of hectic. I will need a little time to set a routine and get over with things like buying books for the new session, attending orientation programs etc.
I will think of a plot after sometime so please please please suggest some ideas.
Another concern is "age" I really don't want to make tiny humans cry ( age group till 12) So if you think 14 is bit awkward for hugs and cuddles then I will change their age to 13 but not below that.

How was Kunj? [ I am removing the strict father wala angle and making it as caring dad only strict if needed as during teenage kids need their parents to be more of a friend than a teacher or guide. ]
