"sir, they are here"
"I knew he would do anything to find him"
"what should we do now sir? "
"nothing just play hide and seek" (laughter)
"what does that mean sir? "
"you'll see".

Cassy woke up to find her father missing from their home. Concerned, she searched every room, calling out for him, but there was no response. Finally, she entered his study and noticed a sealed envelope with her name on it. Opening it, Cassy found a heartfelt letter from her dad. He apologized for not being there and explained that he had to rush for an urgent meeting in Singapore. The letter mentioned that he might have to stay there for a few months due to work commitments.

Feeling a mix of emotions-worry for her dad's safety and sadness at his sudden absence-Cassy read on. The letter reassured her that he would be fine and urged her to take care of herself in his absence. He left emergency contact numbers and instructed her not to panic if he couldn't answer immediately, as he anticipated being very busy.

Cassy, being a dad's princess and sensitive spoiled child, tears welled up in Cassy's eyes as she realized how much her father cared for her, even in his hurried departure. She resolved to stay strong and independent, knowing that her dad would always be there for her, even from afar.

After reading her dad's reassuring letter, Cassy wiped away her tears and got ready for college. She called her best friends Asher and Leena, asking them to pick her up on their way. The familiar banter and laughter during the car ride to college lifted Cassy's spirits, making her feel grateful for such supportive friends.

At college, they attended classes together, shared meals, and caught up on each other's lives. Despite the initial worry about her dad, Cassy found comfort and distraction in the company of her friends.

By the end of the day, Cassy felt a sense of normalcy and warmth, knowing that she had her friends by her side, ready to support her through whatever came their way.

After Cassy got home she suddenly felt a sense of loneliness and to erase this feeling she called Leena and tells her to come over, which Leena gladly accepted.

Leena came and they started having randon conversations which turned into gossiping.

Cassy, feeling a sudden craving for ice cream during their gossip session, checked the fridge but found it devoid of any. "I really need some ice cream right now," she exclaimed to Leena, who nodded in agreement.
"I'll just stay here I'm already tired"

"okay I'll go by myself, you wait here"

Leena decided to stay at Cassy's place while she went to the departmental store. "I'll keep an eye on things here. Don't worry, I won't touch your snacks," Leena joked as Cassy laughed and headed out.

At the store, Cassy explored the aisles, enjoying the array of ice cream flavors. She picked out her favorite flavors and a few new ones to try. With a bag full of ice cream tubs, she returned home to find Leena lounging on the couch engrossed in her phone.

"Got the ice cream!" Cassy announced triumphantly, causing Leena to look up with a grin.
"who are you busy with miss? "
"uhh no one I'm just scrolling through phone " Leena sighed
"something feels off, what happened? " Cassy asked with concern
Leena sits up and says " remember that night when we were at the bar"
"yeah what about that"

"well I met a handsome stranger but my fucking mind, I didn't asked for his number Or anything, he was so handsome and it's the first time I've felt like this way you know me"

"yeah I know but what are you searching on your phone idiot"

"I literally checked every fucking person's profiles in my page but he isn't there"
"isn't it obvious "
"I know but..... "
Cassy laughed at her
"urgh... Don't laugh you will see I'll surely find him"
"okay okay then let's enjoy our ice creams"

They settled down with spoons and started sampling the different flavors, continuing their gossip-filled evening.

"oh wait" Cassy said while eating
"what happened "
"I forgot to thank that person, I exchanged my number with his friend that day "
"oh"
"let me call him"

Aron sat in his dimly lit study, going over reports and strategies for the upcoming week. His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. One of his trusted men entered, a look of urgency on his face.

"Boss, we've got some troubling news," the man said, his voice low and serious.

Aron's eyes narrowed slightly. "What is it?"

"It's about your father," the man continued, choosing his words carefully. "We've received information that he's been kidnapped."

Aron's heart skipped a beat, his expression hardening. "Kidnapped? By whom?"

"The word is it's the DeMarco Cartel mafia family from Houston," the man replied, watching Aron's reaction closely.

Aron leaned back in his chair, processing the information, because he knew that the families were rivals . "Do we have any leads? Have they made any demands?"

"We're still gathering intel, but it looks like they haven't reached out yet," the man explained.

Aron's jaw clenched. "Keep me updated on every detail. I want to know their every move."

The man nodded, sensing the gravity of the situation. "We'll do everything we can, boss."

Aron nodded, his mind already racing with plans and strategies to rescue his father and deal with the mafia family responsible. The weight of the situation hung heavily in the air as they both understood the dangerous game they were about to play.
