As Y/n explored the new bar, they decided to lean on the wall at the back of the bar since it was pretty crowded. The teen sighed as they looked down. With their head tilted downward, they glanced around the room until they noticed a boy right next to them around their age.

Huh. Didn't notice him before..

He held his drink tiredly with his pale hands. They took note of his attire. Definitely a scrap. Their gaze slowly went up to his face. He was cute. He had dark hair that swooped over his eye, dark eyeliner, and he seemed to have dark.. dead.. eyes.. Hoo.. he was rough.

The teen continued to study his face, not even realizing their staring.

"You're really creeping me out, y'know.", He blurted out.

"E-eh?!"

"The staring? Most people just say 'hello'..", the teen sarcastically spat.

Y/n scoffed. They then fully looked over at him.

"Hello.", they fought back a smug look as they returned the sarcasm.

The boy glared over slightly as a headache made its way in his head. Great. Silence yet again joined in the conversation, as the two gazed anywhere but each other. Y/n finally spared him a glance, but as soon as his gaze began to shift they looked at the roof.

Close call..

Y/n took a sip from their bottle, they just slowly slid down the wall in exhaustion. They hugged their knees as they glared at the floor, thinking of what they'd plan to do to that dirty pickpocketer who fooled them.

As they pondered, they began to feel a gaze burning into their head. But they chose to ignore it. After a bit, the feeling went away... until they heard the boy slide down next to them. Great.

After a mental sigh, they gazed over at him, and he seemed to be tiredly scanning the bar, until the two met eyes and for some reason.. neither could look away.

"Y/n", Y/n blurted out by accident.

"What?", The boy raises a brow.

"I- Uh- My name. It's... Y/n."

The boy remained silent and with each passing second Y/n's face progressively got hotter due to embarrassment. They both took a sip out from their bottles at the same time. Then both proceeded to sigh. They stared at each other in silence until Y/n broke it with a snort.

The boy sighed and looked down with a smirk. He shook his head.

"Well.. Y/n, I'm Stone. And I've met all the scraps in this town, but weirdly not you. And since you're certainly not rich, I'm assuming you're new?"

Y/n gave an offended gasp as a joke. 

"Are you saying I look poor?!"

"Am I wrong?", Stone hid his smirk poorly as he looked down.

"Touche."

The two continued to converse and the topic came to why they were here. Y/n explained they're simply on a search for a place to call home. And so far?... nothin.  

"I can assure you wont enjoy your stay here, Y/n.. this place is shit.", Stone looked up.

"Yeah.. so far this town is rubbish. I even got my food stolen by some scrap my first day here! Luckily I did snag a can of beans off of them though!", The teen snickered evilly.

Stone paused as his eyes widened. Y/n stared at him in confusion at this.

"Wait what."
